Stars tipped for Dancing on Ice 2009
"...stars tipped for next Dancing On Ice - ...other celebrities reportedly set to don ice skates for the show include model Caprice, Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding, Corrie star Matthew Crompton, G4 tenor Jonathan Ansell and Lost Prophets singer Ian Watkins. ..."

We've been having a discussion about this on Jonathan's Official Site
I think this is the 3rd reporting of this story, but still a bit sceptical about it, as when would he have the time to practice with 2 Proms, a 2 week run of the Mikado and then his 2nd album release and Tour.
I think we'll just have to wait and see if he does a blog and mentions it or not _________________

You would think the time factor would make it impractical cathyk2002. So what does everyone else think? Would it be a good thing or something you really hope is just a rumour? |

Xcept back in the days of g4, their was a rumour that Jonathan and Matt, were going to be in Big Brother, it was in the papers at the time, that turned out not to be true ,in fact when asked about it both Jon and Matt knew nothing about it, I personly love Dancing on Ice,but I cant see how Jonathan would have the time, being so busy, but you never know, he does love a challenge,if he was doing anything I would love him to be in Strictley

Well xcept, I hope it is true although I would hate to see him injure himself during training as it might jeopardise his schedule this year and any hope of him going abroad early next year.
But on a personal note, I would love to see him in it as it would mean he would be on TV week after week and he is very competitive so it would be great to watch. It is one of the better reality shows around.
Mind you, I would prefer to hear him sing week after week instead!! _________________ Marian X

Will be interesting to see if theres any truth in this-if it's true sounds like major work and commitment -Jonathan so loves a challenge if this is ture he'll put 100% effort in thats for sure .
Guess we'll just have to wait and see .. _________________ Jonathan Ansell's official forum

We did all wonder last year how he would train for the Triathlon in the middle of a Tour and Summer Proms, but he did it !! Although he does swim, cycle and run a bit and just had to 'up his game' Who's to say he can't already ice skate as well, as he is kinda 'sporty'. Time will tell though I expect and we'll find out soon enough
He has so much energy and I think that's what keeps him going
Always thought it would be a good show for him to appear in as it is one of the 'better' reality shows and would certainly bring him to the attention of a wider audience, who might just think he is an opera singer - and some people think opera singers are sort of 'stuffy' for want of a better word - would certainly show off his competitive streak, fun side and 'up for a challenge' side as well _________________

Im sure that Jonathan S.will not do anything that would hurt Jonathan.
Our Jonathan is very sporty and I should imagine he either can skate or would take it like duck to water
Im hoping he would be able to sing on the show too |

Petworth on Saturday, so hoping that if anyone accidentally 'meets' him there they will remember to ask about this one although he probably wouldn't know anyway _________________

Still can't believe this is true....but the more I read about this, there must be something in it after all....hope not, he needs to concentrate on the many concerts he's doing etc.!! |
