This is sounding really good
Lots of Puccini please, and definitely Nessun Dorma and La Donna e Mobile. Would love E Lucevan Le Stelle, and O Soave Fanciulla.
Surely La Traviata must mean Brindisi?
Oh and it's not opera as such, but I do like Caruso |

The one thing that has got me most excited about this tour is the fact we really do not know what to expect!!
Ok, we know we will be blown away by Jonathan's voice (who wouldn't be!) but the content and the set up will be a lovely surprise. |

It will be such a lovely surprise, I love Puccini's music (not that I ever can remember the titles of the arias) except La Boheme. Just to see him and hear his amazing voice, it's going to be a fantastic night.

This is going to be soooo exciting to see and hear, but I will try and not read any reviews beforehand (that will be very hard in itself ) as I am not going until the Glasgow show, so a few will be performed before that |

Thanks Di.
Reading back through this thread - it's so exciting - knowing what we know now - to what we knew back then.
The CFM magazine gives such an insight into the "storyline" of the Night at the Opera - and I think it's going to be a really unique show from that point of view.
Wonderful to have so many soloists - headed by Jonathan - so that we get the chance to hear solos, duets, quartets etc etc And the orchestra and choir! It's going to be a feast of wonderful music.
I'm so looking forward to it - and so glad I have tickets for the very first show! All I need now is to be well. Fingers crossed.
Love Molly xx |
