Classic FM have now picked this up

Popular tenor Jonathan Ansell is the voice behind the newly recorded England team anthem for the Rugby League World Cup, 'Hearts of England'.

Chart-topping tenor Jonathan Ansell, of X-Factor fame, has recently recorded the new England anthem 'Hearts of England' for the Rugby League World Cup 2008. Produced by Universal Music, in conjunction with RFL, the song was composed and recorded earlier this year and is due for release in the very near future. Rousing and inspiring, 'Hearts of England' is set to install pride and passion in the England players and fans.
Jonathan, who is getting ready to record his second solo album following the success of 'Tenor at the Movies', commented on the recording:

'Hearts of England is an uplifting anthem that I am proud to have recorded for the Rugby League World Cup. It’s fantastic to be involved with Rugby League at this historic moment in its history, and I can’t wait to get singing on the pitch before matches.'

The England team are preparing to play in the opening game of the 2008 Rugby League World Cup against Papua New Guinea in Townsville, North Queensland on Saturday 25 October.

Friday 20 June
