I too have been enjoying reading the extracts from the book, it's so inspiring to read how Russell followed his dreams and also overcame some incredible hurdles along the way, especially his brain tumour. I'm sure lesser people would have been crushed by such challenges, but his strength and determination is a lesson to us all.
I'll certainly be looking out for the book when it's published and hope everyone enjoys reading it too. |

I like to hear how artists first started out and Russell's story shows just how hard he must have worked to get where he is today. He really has accomplished a lot and overcome some difficult challenges in his life and I'm sure this has all helped him become the person he is today. |
I definitely agree with you there xantha. Russell's 'rags to riches' story is so well known, and now we'll soon get to know all the itty bitty details, (that don't fit into interviews) of how it all really happened. And I must admit reading it will probably make me admire him even more (if that's possible ) |

We can certainly thank the love Russell and his daughters have for each other, for keeping Russell with us.
Also I hope he isn't afraid of needles

Got my book out on the underground this morning and a couple of women opposite saw the cover & smiled, then the bloke next to me started reading over my shoulder, I usually get annoyed with that but I didn't today |

| I'm hoping I get it tomorrow, as my Dad has ordered it for me, if not then it'll be a late present. |
