OMG! I have to go! But I don't know if I can. I'm in school at that time so would be difficult for me to get to and from London. Confused

Be a good girl and stay at home to do planning and uni work, or do what I really want to do? x

As things heat up inside Royal Albert Hall as preparations get underway there’s some interesting stuff happening outside as well. Congregating by the backstage entrance were female pensioners, chatting amongst themselves, for all the world a knitting club, or tea social. In fact, this dozen-strong group of women have traveled across the country — from Newcastle for example — and some internationally (three came all the way from Holland) for one reason alone: Josh Groban.
The Californian baritone is their heartthrob, his voice, music to their ears. They met each other several years ago on the Groban trail, at successive concerts they attended across the country. One woman sported a handbag with Groban’s portrait, several others wore shirts documenting their love of the singer.
Unfortunately, though some had been waiting since 10:00, by 16:00 it became clear that Groban had left the building. Or rather, he’d gone in by another entrance and unwittingly by passed his fan base. Unfazed, the women keep waiting. He’s got to leave sometime.

Josh performed Josh Groban ‘February Song’ tonight - the event will be televised on ITV1 15 May 2008

I did wonder if February Song was classical enough for The Brits............don`t get me wrong I love the song but would have liked him to do something to showcase that wonderful baritone voice of his a little bit more.

I enjoyed both of the songs that Josh performed at the Brits but, I think there were technical glitches with February Song as, the balance between singer and orchestra didn't sound quite right. Smile, on the other hand seemed to have it just right and the sound was much better. Josh performed both songs wonderfully though and it was a real treat to see him perform live.
