Well how brilliant was Jonathan on FNIMN .I much prefered that more orchestral/accoustic version of Now we are free to the album version and that final note of My own true love -just totally stunning .Jonathan did great .
Thought the orchestra were wonderful-Paul such a sweetie and the Geoff Eales trio very good.
Just a brilliant show

Wonderful show last night. Jonathan was fabulous.
I loved all the songs but especially Se as that was the first time of hearing it being sung live anywhere.
But every song was a joy.
And the orchestra is always wonderful to listen to - as is Paul Gambiccinni (sp?) he (and Aled Jones) make great hosts.
Jazz is my least favourite musical genre so I didnt enoy the jazz trio so much but you could tell they were fantastic musicians.
Hope this is the first of many occasions for Jonathan on FNIMN!
Love Molly xx |

I keep on playing SE , I really love that song , I think its the lower range of Jonathans voice that does it for me, I love them all but that one is just so special ,I think it shows how much Jons voice has matured

| I agree jonfan, I absolutely adore SE and keep playing it over and over. Maybe it is the lower range that's so appealing, or the emotion that he puts into it-the words are really touching, after all-or perhaps it's a combination of both, but it's certainly my favourite at the moment, and his performance of it on FNIMN was a real standout. I'd love to see him sing it live-any chance Jonathan? |

Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Jonathan is certainly at his best when he sings live in front of an audience. I liked the fact the songs were slightly different to the album as you could here more of his voice and he definitely brought the tunes to life.
My favourite was also Se but he held onto that last note in My Own True Love a little longer than on the album and it was divine. Saying that, as you say, Suz, his lower register is also to die for. It is these notes that show the most emotion in his voice I think.
Yes, Jonfan, his voice is slowly maturing and if he sings like this now, then what is he going to be like in a few years!! Outstanding!!
I have nothing but admiration for how far he has come and developed even over the last 12 months. |

I thoroughly enjoyed FMINM and Jonathan's performance sounded outstanding (as always).
As you say Marian - in a few years when his voice has matured, I think he could rival his idol Pavaarotti for the crown of World's greatest tenor as I'm sure he'll have the International acclaim that he deserves by then |
