What a fabulous day this has been. After watching Jonathan on BBC breakfast, it was a quick turn around to get myself ready and out down to Sainsbury's to get my copy of the album as Mr Postie is rather late around here. I had to have one to get signed didn't I!! I felt a huge surge of pride and emotion as I saw his face stare out at me from the shelves. Had a little laugh with the lady on the tills as she had spotted me racing in, grabbing the album and heading for her till! She caught sight of my T shirt that I had printed up last night with the album cover on the front and she took one look at the album and went snap!!

Anyway, with album in hand I made my way down to the studios. It took about an hour and as I reached the place I spotted a couple of familiar faces and some others were across the road in the pub. After a brief hello, we all waited patiently by the gates trying to decide where Jonathan would be most likely to turn up as there were two entrances. We hedged our bets and spread out for a bit of a wait. I had arrived at 12.45 and Jonathan was expected at 4.45 but he turned up earlier I think it was around 4 but looking at my watch was the last thing on my mind!

Luckily for me and some others we were at the right gate. He turned up in a silver car with a couple of other chaps who I didn't recognise. As he got out, a huge grin spread across his face and said how lovely it was to see us all. He came over to the wall and started chatting, signing albums and giving everyone a chance of a hug and a kiss. He looked wonderful, his eyes were alive with excitement. He wore that navy jacket with stitching around the collar, a white shirt but for the life of me I cannot remember if he was in jeans or trousers. I am sure others will remember.

He said he had gone to Asda in the morning and bought his own copy and when asked about when he will get to here about the preliminary sales figures he said it would be towards the end of the week, probably Friday.

Also said that the interview for London local news had been pre-recorded at the showcase venue but I would think you already know that by now!! All sorts of chats were going on and I missed quite a bit as we all made way for each other to get photos and hugs but we all had a lot of fun and there was much laughter. He stayed with us for at least 15 minutes before he had to head inside for rehearsals.

So we all gathered out belongings and formed the official queue. It was pretty cold, even in the sunshine but the queue was formed behind the gates in the shade, we were freezing. It seemed like an eternity before we were allowed inside to take our seats. I thought I was going to warm up at this point but I stayed cold throughout as I think the air con was full blast! I think the entire second row was taken up with us fans and many seats in the 3rd row as well. We had a fantastic view - well when the cameras weren't in the way!!

The warm up guy was hilarious, picking on members of the audience to have a laugh with.

So on to the show. The women on this show were Coleen Nolan, Jane MacDonald, the woman who used to be in Corry, whose name escapes me and whatsername - oh goodness senile dementia setting in here - help someone!! ah yes, Jackie Brambles. The first part was over in a flash It was brilliant and we were all laughing throughout. They were talking about their Valentine's day experiences.

There was a short break then straight into the second part where they talked about shop assistants both good and bad which we could all identify with!! The came Jonathan. He arrived down the steps to great applause from us all of course. We were extremely vocal! He looked cool and relaxed and took a seat between the four of them, Colleen on one side and the Corry lady on the other. They continued the conversation about shopping which gradually led into a chat about Pavarotti and the forthcoming show. No new news but he was chatting for England! I have to say, that were pretty tame with him and it was a very good interview. I can't remember it all but at least it's not long before you all get to see it. As the interview closed Jonathan said he would be singing Here's To The Heroes later on in the show.

He left the stage to rapturous applause and I think we drowned out Jackie Brambles as she tried to carry on with the show! Another short break occurred and an actress from Casualty then came on but very soon after that, Jonathan was announced. The microphone was to one side of the stage on the floor rather than the stage its self. All the cameras honed in on him and were swinging high and low as he sung HTTH so beautifully. I must say as I watched a part of it on the monitors, it came across very well and created an atmosphere surrounding the song. He sang with passion and gusto. He was flawless. Jonathan has a really polished act with this song and is such a pleasure to watch.

The applause afterwards was deafening! It was now the end of the show and the cameras were cut, Jonathan was still on the stage and went across and bent over the desk for a chat with Colleen. When they had finished, he waved us goodbye and headed out. We followed soon after and went round to the gates again. It wasn't long before the car went in to pick Jonathan up from the stage door and he waved and smiled at us as he sped out of the gates into the night.

What a way to end a perfect day. So many happy memories again Thank you to all of you there today for making it such good fun in the sun. I shall go to bed happy again clutching my CD!! Very Happy

Jonathan was on Entertainment 24 last night.

Sang live in the studio and blew the presenters away and us at home! Smile

Hopefully I will get a youtube clip of it along with Loose Women - which I am still waiting for.

He should be on Kay Burley on Afternoon Live Sky News today. And Channel 5 didnt materialise last night so that one might appear sometime this week!

So much to keep an eye on!

Dont forget Richard and Judy at 5pm!
