It is a beautiful dress - as you would expect from Katherine who always dresses so perfectly.It's a lovely gesture to auction it for charity and I hope it will raise lots of money for them.
Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding Dave - don't you know though, you're not supposed to upstage the bride on her big day  |

That is indeed a typically lovely "Katherine Dress" isn't it? What a great idea to raise funds for such a good cause, I'm glad it raised so much for the Noah's Ark appeal as the final bid was £499!
Many congratulations from me too on your upcoming nuptials Dave, I wish you and your wife-to-be every happiness together. Have to agree with xcept and xantha about the matching shoes and making sure you don't upstage the bride though! Dare we ask if you were the winning bidder?! 
Thanks for the giggles Dave, all the very best to you and your fiance, please count me in on throwing "virtual" confetti in June too.
