I've heard two of the tracks Mary and they are beautiful! I'm interested to hear what White Christmas (festive mix) sounds like. Smile

I had some inside information from Jules yesterday about the White Christmas CD.....

The two versions of White Christmas on the CD are quite different in style, one is very classical, whilst the other is very pop based. The guys are really proud of both versions and can't wait to hear what you think of it....15 days to go until the release!

Apparently the version I had heard previously isn't on the CD, which is a shame as I really liked it, but Jules assures me, the 2 new versions are even better so we're all in for a treat! Very Happy

I have heard them singing it twice now.

I was looking forward to hearing them singing it and I was NOT

disapointed, IT WAS AMAZING. Brought Teras to my eyes and shivers down my spine.

I guess it was the classicial one, it did not sound pop at all.

I managed to record them singing it on my camera and I keep listening to it, I even put it on my computer at work Very Happy .

Blake will be performing White Christmas on GMTV 12th December(see TV Appearances section).

The guys posted the following message on their Facebook page about their performance and their forthcoming single White Christmas....

"BLAKE are proud to be performing their exclusive Christmas Single, LIVE on GMTV, this Wednesday morning.

The single comes out on the 17th, BUT, you can PRE-ORDER the CD from Amazon.co.uk - Please please do!! Every copy that is pre-ordered counts towards our Christmas chart position - your CD will count!

William Hill has given us 3-1 odds that Blake can make No.2 in the Christmas Singles Chart. Wouldn't it be amazing if a British classical group, were able to be up next to the X-factor winner - showing that real music counts!?!?!

Finally, if all this weren't reason enough, 55p of every single sold, goes straight to the Royal British Legion and into helping more school pupils access classical music teaching.

Do you part, enjoy the single, and enjoy this exclusive performance, live on GMTV.

Stephen, Jules, Dom and Ollie - BLAKE. x"

Did anyone see them perform on GMTV today? If you missed it, don't worry as we hope to have the video posted up on here very soon thanks to Todd!

I really enjoyed their performance. As always there were some great harmonies that really added to the feel of the music and lyrics....I feel all festive now!

It is a different version to the one I had heard previously and I can't decide which one I like better as they are both wonderful. If you caught episodes 6 & 7 of the ClassicFM video diaries you will also have had a sneak preview at the festive mix version (with Jules dancing along!)so will know what's in store on their CD.... get out and buy it on Monday! Very Happy

Keep checking in on Blake's section too as we will be posting a very special message from them soon Wink

Glad to hear you enjoyed it Kay. Smile

You may all be interested to know that the CD is selling so well on Amazon.co.uk that they only have 1 copy left!! Don't worry though, there's more stock on the way - and the price of the CD has been reduced too, so that's another reason to celebrate.
Let's hope Blake get their christmas wish and get the number one chart position too. Very Happy

The following message was posted by Stephen on the Blake Facebook page earlier today....

"I've had about 12 messages from people on the Blake group, about the fact that the stock of albums and singles in HMV seems to have run out completely. Some stores have run out, but about 80% of stores do have limited stock of one or the other. Basically, try to find it where you can. Massive thanks to all that rushed out to get copies in the last few days - we actually moved up the charts at a time of year when that's very tough to do. Special thanks to those that went out and bought multiple copies - the sales assistants may have looked at you strangely, but it helped us hugely, thank you!

We've got loads of fun things booked for the new year, including something special to do with our Hallelujah track, so keep coming back to the group for updates.

Merry Christmas to everyone and see you soon,

Stephen. BLAKE. xxx "
