Hi everyone and especially Gina who I already know (assuming you are the same Gina - I was about to email you about this site!)

Although I am more likely to be active on Hayley's boards, I am also a great admirer of Mario. I have seen him in concert on six occasions, always when he was supporting Hayley in the UK. I have 2 CDs which are terrific and I truly believe he is the best male vocalist in the world today.

I'll be back on this board whenever I can! Wink

Hi Gina,

I really do think he's the best in the world. I formed that opinion during the tour in 2004 and it hasn't changed. Smile

Hi Kim,

I guess we could say that about any album by any singer. However, there are some on Mario's that I really love, but inevitably, there are a few that I'm not so keen on. All a matter of opinion I suppose.

Love to you both Smile

Roger

yes I know I am like that with all the singers I like. Well if I think about it there is not a cd where I like all the songs. Smile

Better songs eh!!! Hey, he brings Greek, Italian, French and English music to life. I can't understand much of what he is singing about but, it is all so beautiful. Sue

Hi! I was one of the LUCKY ones to be with Charlotte, Gina, Lois and others meeting Mario. He is just as handsome in person as he is in his photographs. He kissed me on both cheeks when I told him his concert had been my birthday present to myself...wheeeeeeeeeee!!! His voice is perfect, beautiful and well trained, and he sings from deep inside his soul!! I told him "Non Sara" had made me cry each time I heard it, even though I didn't know the words; so I had looked up the translation for the lyrics and was wiped out by the sadness in the words. He told me he would never sing a song unless the words meant something to him. His entire demeanor with us was warm, loving and fun. It was my first "groupie" experience, but NOT my last. Not only did I meet Mario, but made new friends who love beautiful music as much as I do! When music brings happiness, joy and new friends, what more can I ask? Sharon Smile Very Happy

Hey Gina. Gina was the one that made it possible for use to see Mario backstage. She was in constant touch with our moderator on his yahoo site and his manager to work out the security problems with the patiart of the Greek Orthadox church present at the concert. I will forever be grateful to you gal.Charlotte

Hi Sharon and Charlotte , What a really lovely evening you all had. I have heard such a lot about Mario from Trish, and look forward to hearing him sing. If he sounds as good as he looks, then I will be in for a treat, and what a lovely way he has with his fans too. Very Happy Very Happy Did Gina and Sue go too?

Yes,xcept, Mario really knows how to treat his fans. You must get gina to tell us about his birthday party the fans gave that he stayed at until 4 am. he ate with the fans, opened his presents, each one, and he cut the birthday cake. This is really an exceptional man. Charlotte come on gina, you and John were there, I wasn't.

volare, Gina went. She was our leader and captain there. She guided us through the channels to see mario. Is Volare from russell's album and one of his best songs to sing live. Love to sing with him as part of the audience. Went to his NY Nokia show with other Russell fans. Had a wonderful time These great artist fans are the best.Charlotte

Yes Charlotte that's where Volare comes from. It's a great song for us to join in with... well bits of it.. Embarassed Rolling Eyes Laughing

Funnily enough when I was at junior school the Headmaster used to call me something like that. ..... He must have known what was to come Laughing Laughing Val
