Had a phone call from Marian around 4.55pm and Jon had arrived with Debbie and had came back out to chat etc..

He is singing 2 songs, but no mention of what they would be though.

My 'special pressie' was delivered and he admitted to a certain something !! Wink

Piccies were taken He was in good spirits, so looking forward to the reviews now Smile

Wow, Aled is very busy!! Thanks for the info xbons Very Happy I would like to have seen him though as I have always enjoyed his music.

Yes it would have been nice for everyone but he certainly has enough excuses - does he sleep Very Happy

Sure Marian will write to morrow but sounds like everyone had a great time at Jons first solo especially as they all saw him before and after - plenty of hugs and kisses all round.

Glad he got your pressie Cathy and our cards and letters.

Well, that was a night and a half!! Very Happy He came on stage to rapturous applause and went straight into singing Nessun Dorma. A big song for a big night. Very Happy

He did himself proud and delivered it with his usual passion and gusto. All power to his vocal chords!! I was so lucky to be at the front and got a wonderful view as did most of the audience as it was a small theatre just right for this occasion.

Every time he sings this, either with a full orchestra or with a simple piano accompaniment, it sends shivers down my spine.

He went onto sing Volare which obviously sounded very different from the G4 album. Well it would do wouldn't it!! He got everyone clapping along and made sure he visited every corner of the stage which was great for me as I was to one side so he came and sang right in front of me. Very nice!! Wink Wink

Sadly he only had the chance to do 2 songs as it was a bill packed with stars. A lot of money was raised for the hospice and it was a fabulous evening. Very Happy

It was topped off for me as I had a chance for a chat, hug and a few photos with him before and after the show. He was a true gentleman as always having time for everyone who was there. Very Happy

Well done Jon, you did it Very Happy

Great review Marian. So glad everything went OK for him adn that's a big hurdle over with now as it must have felt verrrrry strange for him being on that stage alone singing Crying or Very sad

Always so nice of him to stop for the fans and hope that never changes, no matter how 'big' he gets Smile Smile

Some 'stars' seem to forget who got them where they are today, but sure Jon will always have time for his fans as it just seems to be in his nature Wink Wink

Well done Jon.............proud of you for taking that giant step Smile Smile

Lovely review Marian.

So pleased Jon has got this first solo gig under his belt.

I'm delighted he made time for his fans as he always does - you all deserved the time he gave you for going to support him. Bless you all.

Love Molly xx Smile
