Would be brilliant if he could do a couple of videos for his album to get onto CFMTV before the release date of course Smile Would certainly boost sales I'm sure Wink and keep us going, as Marian says, until he Tours again Smile Smile

All coming together very nicely for Mr A Wink Wink

This is so all exciting!! Very Happy I love the direction Jon is taking with his career. I have always wanted G4 to do more classical tracks but were never allowed to so I am very happy Jon is taking this route.

A classical album with a movies theme? Just perfect and I cannot wait to hear some tracks. Very Happy I also hope some lesser known arias are also included but maybe that would be better for the second album!! Bit greedy me Laughing

I like the idea of a Classic FM take over and I also hope that Jon can spare a bit of time to record a couple of videos for CFMTV to keep us going until he starts a concert tour next year - it will be a long time to wait to see him in action if not. Sad

Good luck with it all Jon Very Happy

Indeed Marian-theres bound to be a new video added to cfm tv before the album is released....but thats still some time away yet.A new video to build up awareness about Jon's album during the winter months would be great.Hopefully Universal will sort something for Jon Smile.

I'd love there to be a Christmas video from Jon. I know it's just wishful thinking on my part - but the Silent Night video from G4 was so beautiful. Imagine having a video of Jon singing in the snow something like Mary's Boy child or In the Bleak Midwinter..... Smile

Loving this idea Molly-could be a Christmas single ..just to get a few December appearances in and raise awareness about the coming album.Love that idea .. Smile I'd love Jon to record with a choir -and what better than a stunning Christmas song.Very Happy As you say though it can only be wishful thinking on our part .. Smile

After speaking to Jon yesterday, it would be very unlikely he will have anything ready before Christmas. He has only just started laying down the first few tracks and he is taking his time with it so he will have an album to be proud of.

I for one, whilst wishing for something sooner, am glad of this as it will be worth the wait in the end. Very Happy

But you never know with him do you!! Laughing

I agree Marian it's excellent news if the recording is taking priority -Jon has no solo recordings at all for the public to listen to so it's great he's concentrating on recording at the moment. Smile

Still as you say You never know ... Very Happy

If Jon does release nothing till the album is ready I do hope he gets some temporary demos on his myspace though-just to have some music available while the album is being recorded ...hopeing he'll give us little myspace updates as the album preparations go on also ..Smile

Good to know that he is taking time with this to get it 'just right'

Sure it'll do well whatever the content and will be waiting anxiously for it's release Wink

Would be nice to have a piece on his MySpace as he has promised us something there, so we know the kind of musical direction he will be going in Smile

I'm thinking surely he will have something there soon Cathy Smile-if not a clip from a finished album track/s ...then a demo/s that gives a flavour of the direction Jon is taking .. Smile
Hope so -would be lovely to hear Jon again.Smile

Thanks Marian.

Even though I'm desperate to hear Jon's new material - I'd rather wait for him to have the time to record music he can be really proud of and that everyone out there will want to buy. No good rushing anything. We will have to be patient. Smile

Maybe he will get a sample or two up for us when he can - but I'm going to sit tight and wait and not worry if he doesnt - he needs to have peace, space and time to get this first album right.

I so agree with you there, Molly. It is a long and slow process but it will be worth the wait. Very Happy

Most certainly will and being the perfectionist he is, he will take his time and get it just right ! Wink
