Well he has now told us in which direction he is heading and think most will be happy with it.

The three we know about are music from: Gladiator, Gone With the Wind and Dancing with Wolves - with original words specially written for him. Going into the classical side as in those who enjoy and listen to CFM. Hope we get a track or two on My space very soon. Smile

Oh yes Mo. I am more than happy with it! The thought of Jons fabulous voice coupled with those beautiful pieces of music - sends shivers down my spine.

It will be interesting to find out what other pieces he intends to put on the album - in the vein of what is listened to on CFM.

I cant wait - and hopefully we will get a taster on his myspace as soon as tracks are recorded and laid down and the record company sorts it all out.

I think Jon would do a beautiful version of Close Every Door Treasure. Smile

Love Molly xx

Agreed Molly.

Close Every Door is my favourite from Joseph, and I think he'd do it well. Gladiator - good choice, Dancing with Wolves - okay but I'm not sure about Gone with the Wind.

Oh I think with new words added GWTW will be lovely, very romantic and of course not really been used for yonks. I wonder if the whole album is film tracks.

I Don't know Close Every Door Treasure, but would that be considered classical?

'Close Every Door' is a great song.

The Joseph who was voted off every week sang it before the others took his 'coat' off of him Mo

I don't know whether Close Every Door would be classed as Classical, Smilie-eyes. There seems to be some confusion as to exactly what Classical is classed as. This is musical theatre, so I suppose I would have to say no.

Sorry I can't help with that question.

Close Every Door is from the musical Joseph so I suppose wouldnt be classed as classical unless it was done in a classical way? It's all very confusing. Beautiful song though.

I'm actually looking forward to hearing how Jon does Gone With the Wind the most because it's not so well known and it's very romantic music.

I think it's all going to be superb. Smile

Agree Molly I am also looking forward to this album and hearing 'Gone With The Wind', 'Gladiator' and 'Dances With Wolves'. All such haunting music and I'm sure he will do a great job of them Smile

I'll probably end up shedding tears by the bucketful though, but I'm a bit like that with such melodies and what I dream Jon's vocals will be like on them Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I so agree about Another Day-was lovely Smile.Should have been a single with the Cliff Miss you nights collaboration and Pearl Fishers duet in my opinion.

Would be brilliant if Mike has written songs suitable for Jon -lets hope they work together again Smile.

One of the co-writters of Another Day has a song he thinks would be suitable for Jonathan, but that was before we learnt that he will be taking music from the movies.

On that basis the theme music from 'The Mission' is very beautiful.

I think I am the odd one out here as I didn't like Another Day, I found it quite bland but that is just me!! Laughing Just goes to show that even with different tastes in music, we were all drawn to G4 because of their diversity and subsequently looking forward to Jon's solo career!

The track I am looking forward to hearing is Chariots of Fire with new lyrics. I think that's going to be something special. Very Happy

I think all the tracks are going to be something 'special' as it's a fantastic singer who will be singing them all Wink Wink Wink
