|
|
The tracklisting for Aled's new album (issue date 1st October) has now been released :
The tracklisting is:
No Frontiers
Reason to Believe
Some Kind of Wonderful
If
Father and Son
Hallelujah
The Rose
All My Trails Lord
Always There
Angel
You've Got A Friend
Be Still My Soul
Whenever God Shines His Light
So something very different! Incidentally, I think there is a spelling mistake, in that "All My Trails Lord" should, presumably, be "All My Trials Lord".
It is avaiblable for pre-order now on play.com and Amazon.co.uk, and a photo of the cover is in the Aled gallery (very suave he looks, too! )
Some great songs in there, many of which will pefectly fit Aled's style. We know that one is a duet with Gretchen Peters. 'If' and 'Always there' we heard during the Spring tour and they were great, so if the rest are up to those two.....

"All My Trails Lord" has now indeed been changed to "All My Trials Lord".
And I have now been fortunate enough to hear four of the tracks performed live...... can't wait for the rest!

Hi, I was just thinking, he is diversifying nicely isn't he! What a career - this new album coming up! Christmas concerts, many more albums in the future and the stage show next year! As well as course of his regular radio shows and SoP! It is fantastic watching Aled go from strength to strength! It is so brilliant to see someone as great as Aled be this successful - and by that I mean someone who hasn't let fame and fortune go to his head, and someone positive, caring and down to earth! Wonder if this new album will result in a wider audience? Great mix of songs!
I have now preordered the new album! Woohoo!! |

I didnt know Aled was bringing out a new album.
I just listened in on his site and I love the song with Cerys Matthews. The tracklisting looks lovely and the cover picture is really nice.
Whenever God Shines His Light is one of my favourite tracks - gorgeous version by Cliff Richard and Van Morrison - Im really looking forward to hearing Aled's.
This album is going to be a "must have" for me. I'm just about to pre-order it from Amazon.
Love Molly xx _________________

Hi Molly,
I think lots of people are really looking forward to this album - it is indeed a great selection of songs, and it sounds as if theyare totally right for Aled's voice and style of singing.
