Calling all Ballet and Opera Fans

There's a chance this summer for you to see performances from the Royal Opera House broadcast live to a city near you.

Sponsored by BP, The Royal Opera House will be transmitting live broadcasts of The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera to city squares throughout the UK. All performances at these venues will be free and you get to enjoy it all in an open air environment.

This year's concerts will include The Royal Ballet's Swan Lake and The Royal Opera's Don Giovanni (starring Anna Netrebko) and Tosca.

Now that is fantastic - over here in the US the NY metropolitan Opera has started live broadcasts into movie Theaters - they are not free but still a wonderful way of experiencing an Opera!
