Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Book by James Lapine.

"We all know the stories of Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood – or do we? Nothing is quite what it seems if you go into this wood today! And not everything ends in happily ever after when the characters are left to work out their own destinies. Following hugely successful visits to The Lowry of his Royal Opera House productions of Pinocchio and The Wind in the Willows, Will Tuckett makes his musical theatre directorial debut with Sondheim’s masterly take on classic fairytales.

With a cast drawn from opera and music theatre and a band of 14, conducted by renowned Sondheim interpreter James Holmes, this is a new production of the very highest quality. "

Tickets are going fast for the Manchester performances too. I was checking online the other day and whilst no date has sold out yet, there are a few that are close to it. Very Happy

The last time we heard from Nick he said the rehearsals were going splendidly. Just a couple more weeks Grantie and you will be watching him once again perform. You are such a lucky lady and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it. Very Happy
