Latest Myspace blog 25 Oct 07..

Changes, changes, changes-time for chapter 2
Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes

Hello, hello!..
I am back again with some food for the brain!

Don't know where to start? I am just writing what I think is important-let's go:

Due to the reason that my career has grown to a level where it needs professional assistance and management not only by a record company or producer, my friend who has looked after my business in the last 2 years had to be exchanged by a professional manager.

Since my career has grown to a new level where professional assistance and management is needed, my friend who has managed my career the past two years had to be let go and replaced by a more qualified and established manager.

A manager who hopefully will be able to bring me into the next level of my career, meaning getting proper sponsorship, endorsements, break into the movie industry, organizes the proper television booking and makes sure that the right people are approached and of course who has a bigger team behind him sitting in the office- who can also take care of you-my FANS!

Those decisions are always hard to make, as passion, love and work grows people together, which makes you blind(loves make you blind, too)You suddenly realize once you get to know the market better, that someone has not got the strength and contacts which are the torch through the black tunnel, or the fuel for the car which is suppose to take me to the destination.

Sometimes working almost 24/7 is not everything, it is the "who is who" in the industry and it is right when you say "a good wine, needs its time and patience." But if the ingredients and people are wrong it becomes not even lemonade.

However, after a long search and effort to recruit the right person to trust and to respect, I can now officially announce that my new personal manager is: Jim Morey.

A gentlemen who has been taking care of artists like Neil Diamond, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, Macy Grey and his latest star is Hanna Montana. After a couple of meetings we agreed and decided, that if I really wanna seriously break into the US-market, I will have to spend from now on some time over here, and also work on my 3rd album over there. Also important is to sit down and start to write some songs-fair enough. What else can I say? As I am single, unmarried, (not even have a pet Wink)))my decision was quick. I am living in Miami.

Well, really till I know if also a non-italian US-audience really wants me. But I guess the challenge is always the media. The question in other words is, will I be played on the radio, will my videoclips be on TV, or will I also have to start to tour only Italian festivals and sing between the meatball and Pizza stand? Now that I am not just coming to tour the US, but really have an American based career, I must say that I will miss my family a lot. I know that I am still young and I need to grab the bull by the horn, but money and fame is not everything. I do not want to forget to live and were I come from. I think I proved that several times to myself, as in fact I am an Austrian born Italian guy. Otherwise I would become a hostage of an image that some of you are maybe sometimes profiling and imagining. Apparently I am already married, have kids or in a relationship, well "Let's keep the fingers crossed, that it is true soon Viva la Dolce Vita!"

P.S Grazie for all your beautiful presents and wishes on my birthday

Ciao, ciao Patrizio

Be patient now, as Rome was not build in a day

My dear friends and fans- I can't believe that my concert in Vienna was almost a month ago! Mamma mia!-Time is running unbelievably.

However I thought I wanna share some news with you and report you what is going on, while I have all that time now to wait on the airport or sit for many hours in the plane on my way to OZ.

Ready? Ok-andiamo! I have been lately busy with my moving into my apartment in Florida-Miami. The address is,……he, he-SORRY-give me at least some secrets and privacy.

The reason why I have chosen Miami was because I like the latin touch of it. The music, the people, the weather-it is nice to be able to walk in flip flops and a T-shirt in November and relax at a pool without being a multimillionaire. Simply Dolce Vita! It was really a hard choice, as no matter where I went I had great memories and a good time. My manager lives in LA, but everything on the west coats was a bit too far for me in order to be always spontaneous and jump on the next plain to see my mother. (Family will always be a priority for me.). So, that's pretty much the reason.

I am not sure if I made it clear enough,(probably not, as you are sooooo many now, and time is toooo short to reply everyone directly) that:

I am VERY grateful for all the presents that I got not only on my Vienna concerts from all my fans that travelled from all different corners of the world, but in general since my release of my debut album "The Italian" in 2005. Do not forget: Your presents on my shows and your messages on my WebPages make me feel extremely good.

Oh, regarding the comments here on the myspace wall paper:

Due to reason that some of you were taking advantage and p……..on that wall by writing all sort of naughty stuff, I get them all into my inbox now-nothing on my wall paper. That way it is more personal, and it does not cause any war between fans, that trying to be loyal and protect me from some "sweet witches". So keep me posting(if you really wanna share some nice thoughts, compliments or complains)everything is always seen as constructive and at the end subjective-liberty of speech, however I read them regularly now. NOTHING is blocked.

Regarding my fans in the UK, I want and need to confirm that I do miss you all(specially your sweet accents-Liverpool, Manchester, Scotland, London -cockney slang,….) and I did not forget where everything started for me. When I was signing autographs for 5 people. So do not be sad, when I did not mention you here or there. There will be a time where you will have me exclusively back again. As I have changed my agent and manager, who both promised to bring me next year on tour to the UK, but did not do anything creative to make it happen, I am very disappointed myself and understand that you are coming back to me with the complains as ther was nobdy to talk to.

Apart from that issues that I had with my old team, let me explain you this:

The British cool media find Italians cheesy and make cynical jokes that make it hard to break into the market, I am not saying that it is impossible, but certain prejudices make it hard to be respected and treated the same way as a British artist. I mean here in general the cool, tattooed, pierced guys who write for high society papers and advised me to do a scandal or an affair with some famous "Barbie" in order to be interesting, while I guess (and I mean that always modest)that talent and honesty comes always first. I always said that compromises are fine for me(things like do not blow kisses or wink into the camera, do not kiss the ladies on the hand-NOBODY does it)but too many compromises are like a prostitution. I wanna be myself, why? Because "NOBODY does it" and just like Sinatra used to say " you can only be yourself, but you can be very good at it"- So, it will take some time to come back and play really great venues just like in OZ, Asia, Europe or now the US.

Due to the reason that my career has kicked off gradually pretty well since the release of my albums in the US, I am focusing more on it, but of course not forgotten about the others. Actually it should help, as the US being the entertainment capital of the world and biggest market in the world will give me credibility.

For me it does not make any difference if I am singing for 5 or 500 people in Napoli or in Singapore or in the US, as I can only do what I love doing: entertain ,sing-be myself.

But the whole world looks at the US, as it is the entertainment capitol of the world. I am still Patrizio the Italian chap and nothing other than the girl that I will hopefully meet one day is allowed to change me.

Anyway-enough with all that business and dreams. I am very exited to be invited by special request to be back in OZ. Singing at Australia's biggest event. -The Melbourne cup. Madonna mia. I was flying from Miami to NY(3 hours), slept in a hotel, flew from NY to Dubai(over 13 hours), and Dubai-Melboune (over 14 hours)just to sing 1 song. "Stand up for the champions" But I am sure it will be fun, so far I had always fun in OZ-no worries mate.

After that I will be back in Austria to play 2 concerts in Wr. Neustadt and Graz and spend again some time with my musicians that I miss very much and that became sort of a family for me. Then back to Miami (around thanksgiving)and catch up with my new team making plans for my new record.

Regarding the US, I have pre-recorded lately a PBS special show about me cooking. It will air on WQED (Pittsburgh station)on November 17th at I guess 1pm. I am anxious to hear your reactions of me in the kitchen! It is something different of me.

I enjoyed that show very much, as I indeed really wanted to be a chef as a child (just like my Papa), plus I like doing all that stuff in the kitchen and of course I love eating. Maria Santa!

When I saw lately those pictures of me from the SA-tour, I almost started to cry. Why? Well, there are two kinds of artist. One that is arrogant and has an attitude, and the other that is kind of vain. Well, the second -that's me!!!!-I am fat!!!!!!! Got to loose weight.

It is all my fault. If your life brings you to all the beautiful parts of the world and makes you wanna try all the specialities of the countries, you cannot always resist. Especially when you are single and do not have anybody to share with. I will have to start though to work that problem out. It is partly that stress that I have. What stress?

Well, I am exited about this new chapter in my career.

Let's be honest I am on a total different continent away from everybody that I knew so far or is my family. Just me, myself and I and a dream in my pocket. I have to relax myself and keep focusing on a much calmer way. Sometimes I just want to drawn in food just to forget. Now, you know why artist start to take bills or stuff. Thanks GOD, I am not taking any kind of drugs or am a heavy drinker.

What else can I tell you my friends and fans!

We all have to be patient now, as Rome was not build in a day, and a good wine needs its time. I am happy to read that you all miss me. So, I hope that this messages shows: I MISS YOU, TOO.

Ciao, ciao

Patrizio

BUANNE Natale-Buon natale - Dec 07

Dear Friends and Fans!

Christmas is just round the corner, and I am about to enjoy it, as this year it was again another "rollercoaster" year. So I wanna fly to Europe and be in peace with my family.

One of my personal priorities is/was/and will be, that for Christmas I need to be with my family. Only once I had to pass as I my cousin in OZ has convinced my mum that I should stay and experience Christmas in sunshine. Well, it was weird to see the candles melting before we lit them on but it was at the same time unforgettably beautiful. Even though I hate the cold, for me Christmas means sitting in a pullover at the dinner table listening to carols and sip a hot soap while you can smell some of the wonderful Christmas bakery that is later served.

In the music industry people do everything only to make more money, forget about traditions, sad but true is that Christmas on the streets of a big city very often feels to me like a shopping inferno.

For me Christmas means not how many presents you get under the Christmas tree, but it is all about the harmonic, idyllic, romantic, spiritual, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that lies in the air. It is the love that we should feel.

If some of you might not be spiritual than just feel the love of your beloved ones that surrounds you. The love that you give and get. These are my basic thoughts, principals and my interpretation of Christmas.

Talking about presents: Well this year it was again for me a year that felt like Christmas or birthday. Every time I was on tour or generally on stage I got those presents from you all that really even moved me to tears. Cards, pictures, chocolates, poems, songs, slips, bras, wine,… Silvana from London, the Harem girls from SA, Georgia from OZ and Peggy from Singapore are only a few to be mentioned here in particular, as they came across with presents that I would have never dreamed of and made me cry.(like a little boy)

I have chosen to mention these names because these girls and ladies have been there for me for the last 4 years and have never turned back their back or speculated any stupid thought. They are true and real fans. They understood the basics from the beginning: it is all about the music and the friends we are making, rest is privacy and respect. As I am also just a human being.

Why am I mentioning that is because, unfortunately there are (after quite a long break) still messages coming that are simply "sick". Some people out there really bored with their lives, have no ambitions or love and are desperate to cause a stir.

As my management company along with my record company have such complains from many other artists as well and myspace is collaborating by supporting the research of such individuals that send such messages, from January 2008 (thanks to today's technology)these people will be chased and fined for posting such stuff. Really unbelievable, because people could invent names and address, but apparently through some servers and satellites support that(sounds like an FPI movie thriller), well-I don't know as I ignore these people from now on. In the beginning we were trying to help but I guess certain people you cannot change.

Regarding your ideas that you have send me of recording a Christmas album, I must say that it is too early, I wanna do that when I will have children myself.

Well, change topic.

2008 should be a very interesting year as I will turn 30 years and around February or March I should be back in the studio recording my 3rd album. I am working recently also on new original material written by me and with some help of really good musicians from Italy, US and the UK. Of course I wanna include and not forget more of the unique, Italian, Neapolitan sound.

Once the new album will be released(I guess around my birthday-20/09) I will be back to tour the countries where I had already great success and of course go and visit the other countries to promote my music and my mission. "LA DOLCE VITA".

I guess that's all I can say. Ah, no I almost forgot:

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY ROMANTIC AND HEALTHY 2008

Buon natale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, ciao

Website, forum and cafe (Feb 0Cool

Buona sera and ciao to all of you,

Due to the reason that there have been lots of changes in my career in the last 6 months(specially team wise, needed to get a stronger more international committed and connected team)it should explain you now also why my official website www.patriziobuanne.com has been sleeping for a while.

As you all know also the forum is down at the moment. I know it is a real mess. But maybe that is also a good sign to see how addicted to the internet some of you might be or not and that less can be more. Have a chat on the phone, catch up for a coffee, go shopping…… But it will be working again soon, I promise. The only worries are(so keep the fingers crossed) that nothing has been lost, if so well we gotta look forward. Andrea and the new Patrizio Buanne team is working on it on a daily basis.

They (or me) will update you with more news as soon as there is great stuff to share.

Patrizio

P.S. The main site.....Will be re designed at some stage...so it gets a new dress.

Dear Friends and Fans!

Now that I have a little bit of time till my next show in the

Chicago area, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to come out to see me in Atlantic city at the Taj Mahal.

I had a wonderful night and the crowd was pretty wild. Might be because you all travelled in from all over and that made it very exiting and emotional. I never expect anything from people so it was more than I would have thought of, but there is a great saying: "You are only as good as the audience is!" and the audience was one of the best I have ever seen. It was a give and get thing between us. Let's say it was almost like making love!!!!!!!!!!!!Wow!!! Thank you for another unforgettable experience.

Special thanks to all the fans who are grateful and understand that when I play big venues(and that's happening more often now also in the US) and I decide to do signings after the show, I can only sign autographs but cannot take pictures with everyone. It is technically not anymore possible as too many people would want the same and the line is simply to long.

When my agent and management advise me to forget about doing signings, I am always fighting for it, as I simply like seeing all these happy faces in front of me.

Stepping aside and take a picture with you means dedicating some time and to treat everybody equally by doing the same, which results that a signing becomes an experience that lasts longer than a show which is not only exhausting but the venue and its workers need to go home, too. I am sure you understand now why it is not anymore possible.

But c' mon I am a singer not a model. At the end you came to enjoy the show and anything extra is a bonus so do not expect that from any artist. You can always take a picture of me while you are waiting in line or at the show, but don't expect it to be a private photo session. I am sure that it is not only a question of respect and patience if we can take a picture but also time and place.

The reason why I am explaining here something that is VERY obvious is, that sometimes some fan tries to ignore the rules, the other fans, me and my team by insisting in a picture. Then they complain and become simply rude. That gives me and my team something to think about, and result that it could ruin that possibility of seeing each other after the show as I do not want to get into any deep discussions with some ignorant. In the meantime I rather sign another 50 autographs and make me an others happy, or just go strait to my hotel room take a hot bath and eat my dinner. Be just fair-not hard-headed. What goes around comes around. –That's Dolce Vita!!!!

Thanks God it is not the majority of my fans and I am happy that the more intelligent and respectful fans that you are, do understand that and also explaine me on and on that I should not care about those rude fan, as at the end no one really does signing after concerts anymore, and they should be happy.

Well , all I wanna say is: Let's just be a team and share equally. I am always (if the time allows it)appreciatefull if someone is willing to wait just even to say thank you or to say hello, but please if you have a big mouth, then just leave it at home. We should as much as is possible. I also sometimes would want to grab some fan and simply kiss because some might be adorable, but that would make me an animal rather than a gentlemen.

Generally you are making my dream come true and my success is success for every single person who wants that music, that style and me to be around. I am happy that with my success I was able to open the market for many Italian singers. Not that I am the first one to sing that repertoire, but certainly the first one at this age to sing that repertoire. Even younger guys are following. Some years ago some guys would have found my music is cheesy, now they are bored by all the same grooves and themes and wanna join me on the mission of making vocal entertainment and romance cool again.

I am working very hard along my management and agents to get more and more exposure so everyone can find out about my music-our music. It seems to work.

Album 3 it's going to be fun to work on as it should give me back the opportunity to promote it all over the world by doing more TV and tours again. So be patient.

So far C U in Chicago with my guest on my show my buddy Matt Dusk.

Ciao and Viva la Dolce Vita!

Greetings from Miami!

Patrizio T-shirts! March 08

Ciao a tutti!(Hi everybody)

I have received many, many really nice messages from you regarding my last blog. They made me happy, as they show that there is some sens of community in this whole army of Patrizio fans-or call it "Buanne babes"?

However, I wanna try to keep the forum here always interesting and busy by playing some kind of games. Every months there should be another game or call it Patrizio-home-exercise? That way I can really see who is commited and a huge fan and who not really.

Here is the first game: How many of you have got a Patrizio T-shirt?

I don' t mean only the one with the "Viva la Dolce Vita" in front or any that you purchased on one of my shows, no!!!Any Patrizio T-shirt in general?

Seeing that my fans are all very different(differnt continents, age, sizes, colours,...)but share one similar passion, that keeps us here together at myspace.com.

I would appreciate receiving 1 picture of each of you either wearing that T-shirt or possing with it(holding it,.....), whatever makes u feel comfortable.

Ok? Let go-very curious already, ciao, ciao

P.S. For those who do not have a Patrizio T-shirt, be creative and do one yourself, sticking a picture on a t-shirt counts!!!!!!!! Deadline: 1. April(no joke!)

PPSS:whoever has troubles(technical or personal) posting his picture on "myspace", just send it to buannebabes@yahoo.com

Have fun, ciao

Patrizio
