Calling all Nick Garrett fans !!
Nick has been very kind as to donate a signed copy of the new cd for a charity auction I am doing in aid of special care baby units in Harrogate and Leeds, and a voluntary organisation called Project Linus which makes quilts for children in hospitals , hospices, children who have been abused etc ,
so if your intearested in getting your hands on this signed cd and supporting this auction please go to
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200070150673
oh and dont worry i will ship it anywhere just need to check postage price thats all
i would like to let you know why i choose these charities i didnt just think oh they are good causes ill use them i choose harrogate and leeds special care baby units because both my children were premature and were in those hospitals my son was 9 weeks early weighing 3lb 10 oz and my daughter was 14 weeks early weighing 1lb 12 oz she is a month old in the picture
and i just wanted to thanks the units for been so supportive while they were in hospital and give them some support to help other parents who are going through what we did especially as it cost if i remeber rightly 200 pounds a week to keep a special care baby alive in hospital per week , and thanks to them both my children are fine and are now aged 6 and 4
as for project linus well they bring smiles and hope to so many children in north yorkshire and if you saw the faces of those children who recieve the quilts it makes it all worth while
so now you know
thank you
Ann |

Thanks for posting that Ann, I gave it a mention in the News from nickgarrett.net too and it will be coming through as a news item shortly too.
Hope that the auction goes well and that you raise lots of money for your chosen charities.
Welcome to Classicalx.com too. |

I think it sold for over £16.50 which being more than double its price is good news. I put a couple of bids in myself so hopefully it helped to raise the price a bit and help out a good cause. |

Hi Ann I am not often on here but I read on Nicks site that you all changed to Star Wars so thought I'd come and do mine. Err not sure who this is or even if she is good or bad ? as I'm not realy a fan.
I had hoped that the cd would actually go for more you could have done with a few more bidders to bid against. Good Luck to you in raising lots more funds.
Jo or Lizoraga on Nicks official site. |
