This is a really great venue! And apparently the seats are filling up, best available right now is row SS, rather far in the back. Behind that is the lawn seating, "Cheap Seats".

I'm not a big fan of Il Divo, but its still pretty cool, an artist on the CX site is coming to Houston! I usually work Tuesday nights so I doubt that I will go, but who knows. Smile

Now what other artists on CX can we get to Houston?? Very Happy

Even though I am not a big Il Divo fan I did go to their concert tonight in Phoenix AZ
So, the pre show was Katie Melua, very good voice. I have heard her music before but I was really impressed by her voice, very powerful!
Il Divo was pretty good too, some funny parts between Carlos and his neverending quest for Testosterone distribution. I think one of these days his chest is just going to pop open from the throat down, he was however a HUGE hit with the ladies here. But despite Carlos's antics I do enjoy his baritone voice and so did many others tonight. The concert went really well although it was VERY HOT, 100+ degree's fahrenheit (around 40 degrees celsius), Sebastion and Urs were the perfect balance to Carlos and David's voices and I was never more aware of Sebastians and Urs's soft, but yet really powerful ,voices than tonight. Both of them sounded so beautiful - Live is so much better than a CD....
The songs tonight included pretty much every song from Ancora, Isabel; I belive in you; Heroes; etc...as well as a stunning rendition of Senza Catene. That was my favorite of the night, oh so well harmonized - never have I heard them sing it so well!! Stunning really!
also on the list were Nella Fantasia, Mama, Feelings and more. I am sure someone more familiar with Il Divo will report a bit more in detail. The concert lasted close to 2 hours. I guess I could stand to listen to the Boys again should they decide to come back here!
I had a good time is pretty much all that counts anyways - as Urs said at one point 'Ancora is #1 here in America - thank you for that' - well Urs your welcome!
