Classical Brit Awards - 4th May 2006

Hi everyone,

Due to technical difficulties (now overcome), I have been unable to log in to this forum for a while. It seems I have some catching up to do!

I don't see any mention here of the fact that Hayley attended the Classical Brit Awards in the Royal Albert Hall on 4th May. She didn't perform and, although Odyssey was nominated for the "Album of the Year" award, it was unseuccessful. The award went to Katherine Jenkins but I have it on very good authority that Odyssey only missed out by less than one per cent of the vote so well done Hayley! But, as I said, Hayley was there - and so was I...

In the arena were many artists, their families, managers and record company executives. Dave (from HWI) and I were in the front row of the stalls, in line with the front of the stage. We had no idea that Hayley knew we were there but apparently she did. During the interval, she suddenly approached us and we spent a very pleasant 10 or 15 minutes with her.

Thanks to Dave for pressing the button on my camera which is something he does more than I do! LOL
