'Newcomer Vittorio Grigolo's first week sales of more than 30,000 copies of debut album, In the Hands of Love, are higher than any solo classical artist in history.

The 29-year-old has been dubbed "Il Pavarottino" by the Italian press, and his mix of classics, new songs and covers - including Keane's Bedshaped - went in at number six this week, ahead of glam outfit Placebo with Meds. '

Thanks for posting xcept............Vittorio interrupted a family dinner last night to join us on his OS from Rome for almost 3 hours......he was so thrilled and happy - he is such a lovely sweet guy !!
