Meet and Greet with Nick

Hear ye, hear ye- on March 15 Nick will host a meet and greet for his VIP fans after the Opera - if you need info on how to be a VIP just pop on over to Nicks site and check the announcements thread for details. But for those who are going -what are your expectations and afterward why not list here if your expectations were met! Crying or Very sad

Unfortunately I am too far away to participate but would love to hear all about it!!.

You are right Novice, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone to get to meet Nick in person - so anyone that can go should try to. We are arranging for a representitive of ClassicalX to go and review the night for those that couldn't make it (and of course it will be fully covered on Nicks OS) Smile

Excellent idea. Can't get to London that night either and it is damm frustrating as I've been one of his VIP's since Nick thought of making us all VIP's but know that Nick will be great company, judging by the time he met his 2 VIP's who got taken to the Noir Show at London Fashion Week for their 'meet and greet' - up close and personal is our Nick. I nearly made it to Horse of the Year Show but my daughter came down with the flu and I missed the signing he did there, but got my CD of Equus (it is an amazing piece Tony you are right!) signed anyway as HQ saw to it that I didn't miss out. Those that did go were going on and on about how much time he spent with them and how happy he was to talk to them and have his photo taken.

I'm a big fan of Nick's and have LOVED HIM Embarassed

since I first ever heard him sing live then when I queued to get my autograph the moment he said 'hallo' he had me!! I was a bit disappointed when he first left Amici as that was the reason I had bought the album in the first place - it was his voice that really hooked me but then when I realised he was going to do his own thing Smile

I got really excited Razz

He is just the coooolesst guy and GORGEOUS ... and his voice is just the best thing ever!

His website is so cool and people are really, really friendly. I can HIGHLY recommend it over there so pop over SOOOOOOOON

I loved the article you did on Nick Laughing

. The questions were fantastic and his answers were even more fantastic and you really get to see WHY SO MANY OF US Garrett Girls are totally crazy about him.

Gotta dash to work soon - going in a bit late but will come back here again as it looks like a good place too.

It is a great opportunity to meet the man behind the music! I was one of the lucky "VIP's" Jack mentioned in his posting (using a different name on this site though) and I met Nick at the Noir Show at London Fashion Week. Both myself and the other lucky "Garrett Girl" got to spend quite a bit of time with him before and after the show. All of our expectations of him were exceeded! He is a genuinely lovely guy, a true gentleman who really took the time to get to know us and make us feel at ease. He has a great talent, a wonderful voice and a fantastic sense of humour.
Anyone that is free on the 15th March should get down to Covent Garden for the opera and then along to the meet and greet afterwards...see Nick's site for full details. Everyone going is really looking forward to the event, to meeting other fans, Nick's management and of course Nick himself.
Jack I'm sorry you're not able to attend this one...hope we'll get to meet soon!

All you opera lovers should not miss the March 15th "Therese Raquin" opera.
Jack I know you would like to attend and boy so would I but too many mile
in between to ever think of it. Grantie you are the lucky one to be able to attend and I know you will share with all of us how wonderful it was. See you all tomorrow at our #1 site. Very Happy

Reviews of Nick's meet and greet would be great. Jack, Connie and Novice I know how you feel, would love to go on the 15th to see Therese Raquin but can't Sad

But I am sure all the VIPs who go and meet Nick will no doubt give us all the details on Nick's site and here too Very Happy

The lucky two Garrett Girls who went to the Noir Fashion show gave us a wonderful report...it was so good that many off of felt like we were actually there..some of us were also just a little bit envious Wink

Don't worry though - Kate & I will write another report for Nick's site after the event and we'll try and do it in the same style as the last one for you, so even if you can't be there in person you can find out all the news! Even if you can't make it this time... by joining Nick on his site you instantly become a founder member of a very exclusive club - NICK'S VIP INNER SANCTUM - which entitles you to a host of special events, with Nick in attendance, VIP Meet & Greets, tickets for his performances in advance of the rest and a lots of other goodies too. As you can see from Nadia's message - Nick and his entire management team place great emphasis on Nicks fans. They make sure we are happy and stay that way...
Do not know of any other management team that can claim this!

I agree with Astrid and Dee. We are very well looked after by Nadia, Carlene and Tom (and of course Nick!) You only have to look at some of the topics on the forum to see. The questions are answered promptly by HQ, we get lots of pictures (and captions) and they are currently working on a video clip and sound bites for us!
We are very lucky Garrett Girls and Boys! We perhaps don't have the member numbers of some of the other classical crossover artists(yet!), but we are all a very friendly bunch! If you haven't already done so, pop over and check it out! Smile

I have only been a member since January and yet I've posted countless messages and will have met the man himself twice by the end of March! I have also made some really good friends through the forum. I have been a member of other forums too for a lot longer and yet don't feel the same connection with them. Nick's site really is great! Very Happy
