At the end of the concert Jonathan called Debbie up on the stage
she made her way down from circle to stalls to stage
Jonathan went down on one knee and popped the question
Very emotional wishyou were there to share the beautiful moments

Congrats to Jon and Debbie!! Very Happy
I'm sure that was a wonderful moment, was Debbie completely stunned or do you think she realised what was going on when Jon called her up to the stage?

Hope she did say yes! Was so caught up in excitement and surprise didn't catch her response. Jon also invited debbie to sing but having heard her on quizmania I think we were all relieved she stayed silent! (Just joking debbie!)

Well we understand nobody knew it was going to happen - so the cast and orchestra coped extremely well Smile not to say the man himself who performed better than ever that night. I said as soon as he asked her to join him onstage 'he's not going to propose is he?' But once on stage she said 'you're not going to sing to me are you?' so I think she would have been a bit disappointed if he had not gone down on one knee for her! But she coped with the whole thing extremely well too - even taking a bow with the conductor after the cast at the very very end Smile

We were very privileged to be involved and as I keep saying this boy does nothing by half Wink

Congratulations to Jonathan and Debbie! Wonderful news!

So romantic - to be proposed to on the stage of the London Palladium.

Well done Jonathan.

Hope they have a long and happy life together! Smile

It was an unforgettable night...the last performance of NATO at the London Palladium which was outstanding considering they had been travelling up and down the UK for a month and must have been shattered.

The cast pulled out all the stops for an excellent show , and then the icing on the cake when Jonathan called Debbie on stage for a so called 'duet'.

What a lovely romantic gesture to go down on one knee and propose....there were and still are tears all round.
They make a devoted and very attractive couple.
May they have many years of Happiness.
Congratulations Jon and Debbie.
