Lesley will be appearing on ITV's 'Loose Women' with Anton Du Beke next Monday 12th November at 12.30pm to talk about the new 'Simply Ballroom' DVD.

Christmas Voices - a four part series
BBC 1
Starts Sunday 2nd September at 10am

Lesley is to be the face of this year's Advent series from BBC Religion and Ethics. 'Christmas Voices' is a four parts of live one-hour Sunday morning programmes featuring Lesley and a collection of her musical friends. Christmas Voices starts on Sunday December 2nd at 10am on BBC One.

Lesley Garrett , Britain's best known soprano, will instead be joining the BBC's TMS (Test Match Special) on Friday 16th 2008 to talk about her love of cricket as well as her amazing career from the English National Opera to "The Sound of Music".

Show broadcast on Five Live Sports Extra, Radio Four long wave and online.

I saw ready, steady cook yesterday and Lesley was very entertaining. She really looked to be enjoying herself and was very talkative throughout the show - by contrast Sarah Brightman seemed very shy.

I admired Lesley when she said that her family still sat down to eat at least one meal together every day around the dinner table - it seems quite a rare occurance for most families these days!

I also liked how both Sarah and Lesley compared music and food and it made me laugh when Lesley said after a 4hr hour opera performance all you want to do is stuff your face! - It's good to see she has a healthy appetite and yet still has a great figure!

Lesley also mentioned her new album and the fact that she would be touring with Carousel before it went to the West End.

It was a well deserved win - the food looked gorgeous,especially the dessert! Very Happy
