Well now I'm permanent at Currys I can! Otherwise I'll have to wait until May! I'm reading Sharon Osbourne's autobiography at the moment so no rush to get the G4 book yet!

See, I have a sense of humour from time to time!

I agree though, its too young to write an autobiography. Wait until they're about to retire, then you have so much to talk about.

Saying that though, I love Ronnie O'Sullivan's autobiography, he's had so much to cope with and he's only about 29 or 30!

Well I hope they plan on going on for a lot longer. Very Happy It does seem a bit early . On the other hand , if it is a biography, then I suppose anyone can up and do it. I don't think they even need permission.

Hi I'm a very big fan of G4. I have both their albums and their DVD and the book and enjoyed all of them.
The first album was fabulous but the second album is even better in my opinion. Some great songs and the harmonies are just beautiful.
I love their versions of La Donna e mobile and Au Fond du Temple Saint but I also love the big pop classics that they do like Beautiful and Yellow.
There is also a lovely rendition of Remember Me which is so poignant.
I saw them on Tour in Cardiff last year and Im going again this year - cant get enough of their voices!
The Tour last year was wonderful. Smile

I have both of their albums and their second album is definitely better than their first, I don't even like their first.

Since what you read was in a gossip mag... I wouldn't take it very seriously.

I'm pretty mixed about G4. I supported them on X Factor as I thought they were the only there. It's awful they didn't win but at the same time, they won it really, because where is Steve Brookstein now? Back in pubs I believe. I mainly just like Jon as he has a really distinct powerful voice whilst the others tend just to be back up singers. I never believed them to be a quartet. They are not equal at all. I know every band has its leader but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way with an operatic quartet. Did you ever see The Three Tenors have a lead singer? Il Divo or even Amici Forever? They are an operatic group organised by Pop Gurus (yes I know Simon Cowell is responsible for Il Divo). Louis Walsh is a manager of boybands who can make something out of nothing (Boyzone and Westlife?!) Louis sets them up in a popular mainstream way instead of the way they are supposed to be. Also, they are not the strongest of classical singers. Whilst I love their pop covers their arias are quite poor.

G4 just keep getting better and better... and despite Louis Walshes attempts to turn them into a boy band... they have kept their unique sound and style for the second album.

I think personally that the 'Friends' idea wasn't a good one, and we could have done with out Cliff and Robin Gibb to be honest... but Barcelona with Lesley Garrett is superb - and the whole thing is another great mix of classical, ballads and great arrangements of pop songs... Beautiful is especially good Very Happy

Go buy it! (despite the dodgy cover Wink )

Those are my thoughts exactly. I really dislike Cliff Richard and I don't think Robin Gibb can sing anymore. I think the '& Friends' was a cheap marketing ploy. Three duets is hardly justice to give the album such a title.
