They do indeed I so can't wait to see the tv coverage -what an entrance  .

Glad to be able to read the reviews and see some great piccies of the event on a whole and to see Mr Ansell in full swing....or is it 'on his bike made for two'?? Great stuff...roll on Thursday!!  |

Was a great day........and evening
Normally I'm an 'early bedder' through the week, but this showing on Thursday will be an exception as I must see this performance again in full.
Not that I didn't see it 'live' mind, but I was busily snapping away !!

I noticed people across from us taking them (on the other side of the Hall) and they had flashes going off, which was pointless as a flash is only of any use from close-up to 12 foot or so away !!!
Thankfully digital camera don't always need a flash for long shots

Why do people use flashes at concerts  i've never got that either Cathy -as you say they would only be of any use near the stage where the lighting already there means they are not needed ..
You did right snapping away Cathy i'd have done the same -a evening to look back on for sure

The photos and video I have seen on the OS are wonderful and I sincerely thank everyone for sharing them.
I was in tears just watching some of the video that Marian took....so full of emotion. 
Have just seen a trailer on tv for Thursday night's broadcast and it looks very very good.....can't wait.

They are not showing this until 12.05am in Wales - which will mean I will have to tape it. Im fed up! 
My only hope is that I can get ITV London on sky digital perhaps.
Its also only showing as on for 1 hour in Wales - if they cut Jon and Hayley out I shall personally track down the programme director!

And so you should Molly - it would be sacrilegious!!
Cathy, after looking at all the wonderful photos on Hayley's site, I think the cameras going off opposite us belonged to her fans!!
I couldn't believe out luck that we were able to take photos and videos whilst it was being being filmed for tv. I thought they might have chucked us out!! 
I haven't written a full review of the night for the simple reason that so many have given such excellent accounts that to repeat it would be boring!!
Needless to say, it was a wonderful night - an experience I will never forget. It was a glittering occasion with stars a-plenty and all so civilised compared to the pop brits!
I have always wanted to go to this event but it was the thought of Jonathan and Hayley singing that spurred me on.
So looking forward to the broadcast and especially to see you know who again!! I think it will be a late night for a lot of us!!
