Good for Lesley!! Very Happy

Any time I am in Central London I always try and go along to Covent Garden to see who is busking. There are some incredibly talented musicians there and it is wonderful to enjoy a performance of classical music for free. I think it is not only great for tourists but also helps introduce people to classical music. The last few times I have been there, a string quartet called ZHL Strings have been performing and they are all highly talented musicians and also very entertaining in the way they interact with the crowds.

Artists like the Opera Babes were talent spotted whilst busking at Covent Garden and I'm sure many other musicians have in their time performed there or been spotted as a result.It would be a shame if these artists were no longer able to perform there. For me, Covent Garden without buskers just wouldn't be the same!

Good on her! I love seeing all the street artists in Covent Garden when I'm in London. It wouldn't be Covent Garden without them. As Xantha says, it's a great opportunity for fantastic musicians and performers to be seen. x
