Hi everyone.
Now that we have all heard Jonathans first solo classical album - and havnt stopped playing it since - I wondered what other songs/arias etc would people like to hear him sing?
Maybe if Jonathan reads this thread - he might pick one or two. We can but hope!
I have so many choices I could probably fill a whole page and more - but I'll start off with my special favourites:
Ave Maria
Santa Lucia
Nella Fantasia
La Traviata: Brindisi
Speed your journey (Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves)

Love you suggestions Molly. There are so many to choose from it's virtually impossible to pick some favourites!
It is rumoured that Jonathan will be releasing another album for Christmas and I would dearly love to hear an album purely made up of traditional Christmas carols and hymns but done in his own unique way. That would be special and a great one to play on Christmas morning. |

Marian I second that!!!!
An album of Christmas and religious music would be wonderful.
If they brought it out end of November - it would sell all the way up to Christmas and we could play it every single day!
I would love it - I really would.
I think Christmas has inspired so much wonderful music - and I dont mean the pop end of things - but wonderful uplifting pieces like Joy to the World, Mary's Boy Child, Oh Holy Night and beautiful carols like "Three Kings from Persian Lands afar" and "The Band of Children" - and that's besides the traditional lovely stuff like Silent Night etc
I would think I had died and gone to heaven to have Jonathans voice on such beatiful music.
And on a more shallow note - think of the album cover - Jonathan smiling in the snow with snowflakes in his beautiful blonde hair......

I would so love to hear Jonathan sing God So Loved the World - its a beautiful piece, my sister sang it in a concert I once put on in one of our village soirees and it's fabulous - the scope for Jonathans voice would be wonderful. From low to high - and with the emotion he puts into his singing......also Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring - crying out for his vocals!
They would both sit beautifully on an album of Christmas and Religious music.

A Christmas Album sounds wonderful...... but how would he fit this in with Las Vegas?
Perhaps next year hopefully and even a Cathedral Tour. |

He can record Christmas album any time
It can be released end Nov. and Jonathan can have Chirstmas tours and hope he can sell albums at the concert. That's where they sell more albums to the audience who have only discovered Jonathan there. The live atmosphere will drive people to buy
I have been to a concert (not G4) and very excited about the performance. I didn't have cash to pay, so decided to go online. By the time I went online, the excitement had cooled down and the sample on the website did not give the same excitement on live. ..haven't bought an album yet |

I guess we will have to wait and see what happens with the timings for Las Vegas before we know what will happen.
He could record a Christmas album in advance - it's the promoting of it that might prove a problem if he was in Las Vegas - but I'm hoping that somehow or other he will be able to fit both in!
Another song I would love to hear him sing - Mo reminded me on the OS - Younger than Springtime from South Pacific.

I'm thinking anything is possible as long as Jonathan has the behind the scenes support that means he can get everything done .As you say Molly guess we will just have to wait and see -a Christmas 2008 album release and maybe even a Cathedral tour would be wonderful . |
