Hi everyone

Hope everyone is well and having a good time. Christmas in nearly upon us and I'm getting everything ready
for the family to visit.

So everything is virtually ready for La Passione to be released on November 12th - As I've said before, so excited and I so hope you
all love it - So much love and passion went into making it - it really was and is, a labour of love. Can't wait to hear your comments when
you get your hands on it. As you know, we went to Italy to shoot the photos, the video and the Tv commercial and
I'm so happy with the results - again hope you like what you see. If everyone loves it, maybe I can get to do a second album of neapolitan
material some time and go back to Italy to eat the food and see that wonderful country and its people.

Last week was a busy one too - I had a meeting with Placido Domingo at The Royal Opera House and got to sing for him, which is one of those
very special moments in your career that you will always remember - I played Canterbury Cathedral, with my band of regular musicians -
Jill Farrow, playing piano, Tom Piggot-Smith, violin andForbes Henderson, guitar. We had a great time and I think everyone really enjoyed it -
We were signing autographs for ages so I hopeit went down well and we were supported by three great girls called Sirena, who sang magnificently.

The next few weeks are going to be a mad rush to get everything done, but I'm really looking forward to all the interviews,
the Tv performances and to seeing as many of you at the various things as possible.

Next Saturday, 3rd November I'm doing a 30 minute free concert at The Royal Festival Hall on The Southbank -
It will be just myself and Jill, my accompanist - very "up close & personal" as they describe these events,
I would love to see as many of you there as possible,if you can make it. Please come.

Sorry if I haven't replied to anything personally over the last few weeks but you can imagine, its crazy time,
but I do read everything you send or post up on the site - nothing is wasted I assure you
and thank you all for your lovely comments, so appreciated.

I will drop you all an update in the next week or so,

Take care and love to you all,
Big kiss,

Alfie x

Wow, Alfie, you have been busy. I've seen Sirena twice, and they are quite good.
I'm so looking forward to the new album. Hope it's as good as the previous ones.

Hello All,

November the 5th - Its Fireworks night...................

Hope you are all well - Its certainly getting colder out there and now the clocks have gone back, its darker so much earlier, so I hope La Passione will bring some much needed sunshine back after the fireworks !!

Exciting week ahead, but first thanks to all of you that came to the free show at The Southbank on Saturday - I think about a thousand people attended and it was sooooo good to get to talk to as many of you as was possible.

So this week - I'm performing "Caruso" on 'This Morning' tomorrow (Tuesday) with Philip and Fern. Love doing that show and can't wait to perform it for you. Then on Thursday, I'm recording BBC Tv's 'Songs of Praise' at Hereford Cathedral which will be great. Never been on Songs of Praise, so really looking forward to it.

Friday I have an interview with Steve Wright on Radio 2 - he's such a great guy and I'm so excited, can't wait to meet him - I might get a chance to sing live on the show - you never know !!

Saturday is Festival of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall - That is going to be a wonderful experience and very moving, I'm sure. Hope you get to see it or if you are in London, are able to be at The Royal Albert Hall ?

And then, the moment I've been so waiting for - Next Monday, 12th Nov is the official release date for La Passione. I know a handful of fans were able to buy pre-release copies at The Southbank - bit of a surprise for those that attended (and for me as I didn't know we were going to do that !!) and I'm so sorry if it upset anyone that couldn't get there - I think the record company only had a very few pre-release copies and they thought it would be great to offer those that came, a chance to buy one.

So after all this love & passion making the record, its just seven days away from being in your hands - I will be so desperate to know what you all think - I so hope you love it as much as we do.

Have a fun bonfire night & be safe
La Passione to you all,

Alfie xx

Ciao ABUK

Hope you are all well - Its the big week - Album out today !!
Fingers crossed you all like it - I've said before, just how much love
and passion went into the making of it - so really hope it makes you happy.

Festival of Remembrance was wonderful to be a part of. Such an amazing night
and so humbling to be on that stage. Its one of those moments that you will never forget.

Coming up: This week I have an interview at Radio 4 tomorrow (Tuesday) for Front Row, which goes out just after The Archers
at about 7.15pm. Then Friday I'm on 'Loose Women' on ITV at about 1230 - fast drive to the airport and then to Belfast
for Children in Need, where I'm singing "Caruso"

Please let me know what you think of the album,

Loads of love to you all,

Alfie x

Hi Everyone

2008 and I haven't had much to say as yet !! I spent Christmas in The States
and then on my return to The UK had a bunch of PR things to do before going to Norway
for a week of concerts - They were great fun. Even though I am part Norwegian, I had never
visited the land of my family - or at least one side of the family.

So, finally back home and getting ready for a year of concerts and Opera's - I did manage to squeeze
in a performance on The Alan Titchmarsh Show which was great. He's such a nice guy and loves Classical Music.

I'm so looking forward to getting out on the road and I hope loads of you will come and see the various shows
and as you know, I'm back at English National opera for The Merry Widow starting on April 24th.

Before that, I'm back up North: 14th March in Manchester and 15th March, my home town - FLEETWOOD!!
playing with The Lancashire Sinfonietta. Those are going to be very special concerts. I think Fleetwood sold
out in 8 minutes - all to my family !!! Only joking !!

After these two shows, my first Alfie Boe Shows with The Philharmonia Orchestra are Reading on April 2nd, Canterbury April 7th
and Croydon on April 9th - If you want a sneak preview, I'll be singing:
STRAUSS Di rigori amato il seno (Der Rosenkavalier), MOZART Dalla sua pace (Don Giovanni). PUCCINI Che gelida manina (La Boheme)
PUCCINI Recondita armonia (Tosca), TCHAIKOVSKY Lensky's Aria (Yevgeny Onegin), TOSTI A' vucchella, GASTALDON Musica Proibita
and ending with TRAD NEOPOLITAN SONG O Sole Mio Hope you can make one of those nights !!

We are talking about recording something very special, but more on that soon,

Take care of yourselves and see you soon,

Alfie x
