Excellent! It's so difficult this year - so many brilliant albums! I'm surprised Katherine isnt up for the award this year! She's always on that nominations list! x _________________ 'A life in music is a life beautifully spent.' (Pavarotti) |

In order to qualify your album had to be at least 60% Classical. Katherine's latest album Rejoice isn't and so doesn't qualify - hence it was put in the pop charts and not the classical charts.
It would be lovely to see Blake take home the Classical Brit Award this year though. |

As well as visiting lots of schools introducing their music to a younger audience and encouraging them to vote for Blake at the Classicalbrits, it seems that Blake are also getting some support from another source too.
The following blog message appears on Andrew Lancel's wesbite. (Andrew plays D.I. Neil Manson in ITV's The Bill)
Hi everyone,
My good friend Dom Tighe and his mates in the fabulous quartet BLAKE have been nominated for a classical Brit award for their first album.
I am really proud of him. I used to do workshops at the school Downside near Bath and Dom was always brilliant. Please check out their website at www.blakeofficial.com. You can also view what they do over at youtube.
Also if possible please go over to www.classicalbrits.com and vote for them! Its so cool when you guys support me and my pals. Its just so appreciated.
Thanks
Love Andrew x

I've voted so many times! It seems odd that they allow people to vote over and over again. x _________________ 'A life in music is a life beautifully spent.' (Pavarotti) |

They may allow you to vote more than once physically, but if you read the small print, ie; the terms and conditions of voting, mutiple votes will not be counted.
The way to ensure your favourite group or individual gets the most votes, is to spread the word to all your friends and family and get them to register and vote.
Only a few days left to cast your vote now! |

And with just days left to go before the voting closes, even the members of Blake are rallying their friends and family in order to make every vote count.
The following message was posted on facebook by Stephen Bowman.....
" After the amazing voting efforts of people around the UK, BLAKE are in with a real chance to win this, but we need EVERY last vote!
If you haven't already done so, get your family, workmates and friends to visit classicalbrits.co.uk to cast their vote for BLAKE.
Voting ends in just 4 days time, so let's make one huge final push.
We'll never forget all your help on this, winning would change our lives....
Stephen, Jules, Dom and Ollie.
BLAKE." |
