“THREE DIVAS” TO GRACE WHAREPAI

Get ready for a wonderful musical treat. On the afternoon of Sunday March 30 (2 pm to 5 pm), three magical voices will mesmerize the audience in the beautiful Wharepai Domain, with some of the most beautiful singing ever to grace the stage in Tauranga.

“Three Divas” gets under way with talented local soprano, Sharon Elizabeth. Well known in Tauranga circles, Sharon has gone from strength to strength and is now attracting bookings from all corners – including an engagement in her home country, England, in May.

Next, comes a young woman of rare talent. At just 18 years old, Elizabeth Marvelly (pron. Marvil-ee) is already being hailed as the new singing sensation. She is only the third, and most recent, New Zealander in the past 10 years to have an international recording contract with EMI Classics. She is now attracting offers for appearances at events all over the world and it is indeed a treat to have her performing so close to her home town of Rotorua.

Then, put on your dance shoes!

Yulia will present an all new upbeat set as the final act. She’ll perform popular tracks from the hit albums MONTAGE and INTO THE WEST then "breaks out" in the style of Celine Dion's Las Vegas show to demonstrate one of the most versatile voices in NZ music.

Yulia also performs her single LOVE SIEGE, "live" in concert, for the first time in New Zealand.

With a finale to blow your socks off including Yulia, Elizabeth Marvelly and Sharon Elizabeth all together, this is a “must-see” concert.

Promoter, Craig Wilson, who also organises the annual “Mills Reef Stars Under The Stars” shows, says that tickets will go on sale this Saturday (2nd February) at Baycourt Ticket Direct from 9am.

0800 4 TICKET

Because it’s expected to be an extremely popular event, locals (Tauranga) have their chance to get in before out-of-towners, with the tickets only being available over the counter for two selling days (Saturday and Monday), before opening up to include phone and internet bookings on Tuesday morning. A large queue is expected on Saturday, so be early.
