Groban & will.i.am join Dion for TV Special

JOSH GROBAN and will.i.am joined CELINE DION onstage in Los Angeles on Saturday (12Jan08) for a low-key fan-only concert that has been filmed for a new TV special.
The concert, at the Wiltern Theater, was Dion's first show since she wrapped her five-year A New Day residency at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in December (07).
Celine Dion: That's Just The Woman In Me will air in America on 15 February 2008 .

Grammy awards -

The music industry's premier event will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008,
at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 Surround Sound on the CBS Television Network from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The show also will be supported on radio via Westwood One worldwide and XM Satellite Radio, and covered online at GRAMMY.com. Additional performers, presenters and special segments will continue to be announced in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the GRAMMY.

As part of a special segment, pop and opera tenor Andrea Bocelli and pop and classical singer Josh Groban will perform together for the first time. In 2000, Groban filled in for an ailing Bocelli during the rehearsal of "The Prayer," Bocelli's duet with Celine Dion on the 42nd Annual GRAMMY Awards. Now, eight years later, the two will perform the song together on the 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Great performance by Josh and lovely interview - he has such a lovely sense of humour. I notice both the album Awake and the new live DVD are climbing up the Amazon chart on the back of his 2 TV appearances this week (now at 28 and 29) I wish his PR people would give him the kind of promotion he deserves in the UK and a full tour over here so more people can discover just what they have been missing !!!

I saw him in Glasgow last year and would certainly go again should he come our way once more as he said he would Wink
