Blake's 'Hallelujah' appears at the top of this week's album recommendations by Classicfm (even though it is only a single!)

Hallelujah - Blake

Since meeting last year on the social networking site, Facebook, classical boy group Blake have risen to fame, topping the charts with their debut album - 'Blake'. The group have now recorded an a capella reworking of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' - originally made famous by Jeff Buckley in 1994. 'Hallelujah' will be released as a download track on 25th February.

So, the new single has been released, you've read the reviews on it (including our own) and you've possibly seen Blake perform the song on TV, but what do you think?

Do you like the a capella version?

Do you have a favourite from the two versions that Blake have recorded?

Let's hear your thoughts on the matter.

Heard the a capella version and it took a few listen to get used to.
The voices are wonderfully arranged and they just sound great, though I must admit I do miss hearing the strings build up the voices in their CD version.
Still, I will enjoy listening to both versions.
