New role for Jo Applebly - as a Mum!

Former founding member of Amici Forever, Jo Appleby and her tenor husband, Andrew Rees have announced today that they are expecting their first baby in March.

Both mother and baby are doing well, with Jo loving the experience of pregnancy and the couple are absolutely delighted, eagerly looking forward to becoming parents in the new year.

I'm sure everyone here on the ClasssicalX site will join me in sending congratulations and good wishes to the couple on their absolutely wonderful news.

Thank you for your kind words Treasure, I'm sure Jo will apprecaite them very much. She and "bump" are busy doing some Christmas concerts at the moment, so her little one is going to have a head start in the singing stakes I think! Laughing

I was fortunate enough to see Jo at a beautiful Christmas concert recently (one of her last events before taking some well earned rest) and can happily report that she is looking absoluetly fantastic! She and "bump" are doing well and both Jo and Andy are very excited indeed about their little one's impending arrival in the new year. Very Happy

I shall keep you posted of course if/when I hear any news.

I'm sure you will all join me in sending warm congratulations to former Amici soprano Jo Appleby and her Welsh tenor husband, Andrew Rees on the safe arrival of their first baby.

David William Llewelyn was born on 10th March weighing 8lbs 3 ounces and both Mum and baby are doing well. I know their little one will be getting lots of love and I'm sure he will also be getting rocked to sleep with some rather exquisite lullabies too! Wink

Well done Jo & Andy and welcome to the world little David xx
