Thanks for the link Xena, this sounds interesting. Smile

It would also be interesting to hear what others think to this new service and what music they will choose to have on their own "MYCLassic FM"

Indeed Xantha, it does sound very interesting doesn't it?

I too look forward to hearing other people's thoughts on the player and the kind of things they are playing - hopefully lots of Classicalx artists!! Wink

I've been having a play with this today and it is relatively easy to download and use etc.
You are asked to rate certain tracks and composers / performers and then based on your ratings you be given more of the music of your choice.
As Xena has posted before, the music is divided into categories such as Baroque, Film Scores etc. but there doesn't seem to be anything for artists in the Crossover category. Sad Bryn Terfel does appear in the Hall of Fame section but so far I haven't come across any other CX featured artists.
If I could make some suggestions on this, they would be;
a)to allow the user to type in the name of the composer or artist they like and then be given a selection of their music to choose from.
b)have shorter clips for some of the music you are asked to vote on as you normally know whether you like a piece of music or not after say 2 mins rather than listening to a full piece which may be 8-10mins long
c)Have a section for Classical Crossover artists

In general though, I do like the idea a lot - what other comments do people have Question

I have to agree with you completely there xantha, as I think they need to add more crossover content too and give you more ability to enter composers and artists names.

It certainly seems like an interesting idea with great potential, but there are definitely a few things that they could so to make it better and more diversely appealing!
