Bryn's Falstaff lined up for S4C TV broadcast 2008

S4C is to broadcast Welsh National Opera's revival of Falstaff, starring Bryn Terfel in the title role, as part of a three-year deal between the two companies.

The Welsh language channel will air a total of four WNO productions.

Terfel's performance as Falstaff will be his only operatic role in 2008 and the production, staged next March at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, has already sold out.

Bryn taking Falstaff lead for the WNO

BRYN Terfel will be performing in the title role of the Welsh National Opera’s Falstaff.

WNO is hosting a special fundraising Falstaff gala preview on St David’s Day at the Wales Millennium Centre.
