Yes, I think they do often drop the price nearer to release date Mo.

I have just cancelled and re-ordered mine on Amazon. I had pre-ordered at the dearer price and it was still showing that price on my order.

It's down at the lower price now! Smile

As I'm buying a copy for my sister to send over to Spain and one for my other sister too - a little bit of a price drop makes a big difference!

Its great that its high in the various pre-order charts - lets hope that means good sales for the official charts and especially the classical chart if its eligible. Smile

Jonathan Ansell was without doubt the most famous and favoured member of popera group G4. Finishing second in reality TV show X Factor in 2005 helped springboard the group to international fame where they sold 2 million records worldwide.

Jonathan's eagerly awaited debut album 'Tenor At The Movies' features songs from the greatest movie soundtracks of all time. Including 'Now We Are Free' (Gladiator), 'Here's to the Heroes' (Dances with Wolves), 'My Own True Love' (Gone with the Wind) and the theme from 'Chariots of Fire'
.

Cant wait to hear this! Apart from putting lyrics to the godfather which i'm not too sure about this looks to be a unique and innovative cd. I also love Morricones music so to have not 1 but 2 tracks with jon singing will surely be a heavenly pairing!

Does anyone know if romeo and juliet is the dire straits song or something from the franco zefferelli film. Ai giochi addio perhaps? I hope so as can't stand the dire straits song!

I have just started a new discussion on Amazon relating to the promo video

Quote:
I have just watched this wonderful video and from what I can hear of the tracks, no one will be disappointed with the album. The lyrics that have been specially written to Chariots of Fire sound wonderful sung by this very talented singer. It is full of passion and emotion.

The video also shows how far Jonathan has come since the days of the X Factor, in fact how far he has progressed since singing in his local choir as a lad.

Music has been in Jonathan's blood from an early age and it shows. His enthusiasm is infectious and for anyone still undecided about this album, take a chance, discover Jonathan Ansell for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

To hear the CD in full will be brilliant but to see him perform live on stage again in the near future will be amazing. Not to be missed.

What does anyone else think of the video and of the tracks playing in the background? Doesn't it want to make you hear more! I already have my copies on order!!

If anyone has a moment, maybe they would like to add their thoughts as well Smile

All the music is from the movies so would imagine it is FZ

We were told by someone who has heard Jonathan sing it that the Godfather is wonderful and there are allready words to part of it - you can find it on youtube 'Speak softly Love'. You can imagine jon singing it.

Of course we won't know for sure till we hear or see where they are taken from.

Thanks for posting up those links Mo. Smile

Speak Softly Love are just the most beautiful words ever! (And Andy Williams's voice is lovely - a favourite singer of mine. )

If Jonathan sang those words - I would be on the floor! His beautiful voice and those words..............heaven and bliss!

Roll on 18th Feb so we can find out!
