‘Amore’
- The Producers -

?Åmore (Amor) was produced by David Foster and Humberto Gatica and co-produced by Tony Renis.

DAVID FOSTER:

David Foster is one of the most successful and sought after figures in today’s music world equally acclaimed for his work as a producer, a musician, a songwriter and as an arranger. His immense musical resume is studded with some of the greatest artists of our time, including Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Lionel Richie, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, Natalie Cole, Paul McCartney and Toni Braxton.

A classically trained pianist, Foster began his career in 1973 and quickly established a reputation as one of the world's leading keyboard players, performing with the likes of John Lennon, Diana Ross, George Harrison and Rod Stewart. Developing his career into the areas of song writing, arranging and producing, Foster first enjoyed great success with acts including Hall & Oates, Denise Williams, Alice Cooper and The Average White Band. In 1979, Foster won his first Grammy Award for the song, "After The Love Has Gone" with Earth, Wind & Fire.

In the 1980's, Foster was responsible for hits including "Hard Habit To Break", "You're The Inspiration" and "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" with the group Chicago. He wrote and produced "St Elmo's Fire", which is still one of the most recognizable movie themes ever written. Barbra Streisand's mega-hit "Somewhere" helped cap off an amazing decade of Foster's music. The 1990's saw even more of Foster's phenomenal contributions to the world of music. During that time he worked with the likes of Whitney Houston and Celine Dion, whom he first brought to the United States. He also managed to make musical history by creating the emotionally sentimental duet of "Unforgettable" with Natalie & Nat King Cole. Between 1994 and 1997 four David Foster productions spent a total of forty two weeks at the No.1 spot on the U.S. "Hot 100" singles chart; Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You", Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart", "I Swear" by All-4-One and Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me". To date, Foster has won fourteen Grammy Awards and has been nominated forty three times, having won the prestigious Grammy Award for "Producer Of The Year" on three occasions. Foster's riveting "The Prayer" is one of his three Academy Award nominations to date and won the Golden Globe Award for “Best Song”.

With an unprecedented track record in working with established superstars, Foster has more recently turned his attention to discovering and nurturing new talent, creating the superstars of the future. With his own "143/Warner Brothers Records" venture, Foster has built an exceptional roster of young talent including Josh Groban, Michael Bubl?©, The Corrs, Renee Olstead and William Joseph.
