| Just been announced on GMTV Russell is in a critical condition...........he is to undergo emergency brain surgery this morning at 7.30am. My thoughts and prayers are with him. |

I saw the report as well, Penny - totally shocked. I really hope the surgery goes well and Russell makes a complete recovery - I said a little prayer for him at 7.30am.
Let's all think positive thoughts as we did last year. |

Yes, I will be joining in the group prayer Dawn.
Latest report is that bleeding was detected in the brain which is very critical apparently. How dreadful that it could happen to him again. |

Our thoughts and prayers are with Russell - not only is he a true performer but on a personal note I know him well as in his early days I had the pleasure of working with him - even before he had a record deal! He is a fighter and if he can beat this he will.
All his legions of fans will be giving him strength and enormous support and all of us at nickgarrett.net send our thoughts too and I send my love and prayers to him.

This is so awful!  He really hasn't had a good time of it has he! My thoughts are with him and his family. I really hope he recovers soon! x |

| The last Sky news report says that Russells manager will be making a statement about his condition after he has spoken to the consultant. |
