A reason for everything?

Today I walked into Kens Camera and Video Shop in Christchurch to print off a picture of Brooke Fraser, the top selling NZ artist, from the Vodafone Music Awards of 2004. I'm gonna see Brooke in concert tomorrow night so it makes sense to finally get the picture to her which she has been waiting on for 3 years! At Kens Camera and Video the man behind the counter looked at the name on the docket and shyly asked if I was YULIA, the singer. I admitted to the crime. Then he said that he never would have thouht that such a small softly spoken lady could have such a powerful singing voice. He totally made my day!

If it wasn't for my fans, where would I be?

Yesterday, I had an interview with Jo Giles on the Canterbury TV channel CTV. It turned out to be a very sincere and heartfelt interview with lots of laughter through tears. It is going to be broadcast on CTV channel 16 at 8pm on Tuesday 23rd October. After the interview Jo and I were hugging each other with delight and two of the CTV crew commented how deep and touching the story was.

What would I do without such talented and sincere interviewers?

And finally, it is my Dad's 60th tomorrow. Mum and I spent the whole day in preparation. It's so good to spend time together with the family.

How can I be without my Rock?

Do you have this, too? Every place you go, everything you do is filled with love. All happenings are there to teach and empower you?

I have just watched the movie called La Vie en Rose about the life of Edith Piaf. It is incredible. Such a sad existance but how much she had to offer her audience!

Everything happens for a reason. Another thing I know to be true is life is as good as you make it.

I'm feeling inspired to say this to you now. So, perhaps, there is a reason for my words?
