Blake will be guests on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night on 9th November 88-9 fm on your radio, Sky channel 852, Telewest channel 902, NTL channel 402 or via the BBC Website. You will also be able to listen to the programme on the "listen again" feature online, once the show has aired.

If you've not yet had the chance to hear Blake, then tune into the show and hear for yourselves what great voices they have. You can also read all about them on here in their biography section.

According to Aled Jones' concert listings the show will be at the Mermaid Theatre on 9th November. Aled, as you may be aware is one of the regular presenters of the show.

I hope some of you tuned in last night to hear the show as it was wonderful.
Aled was on top form with the jokes, the BBC orchestra were sounded amazing and Blake gave an incredible performance. It was quite touching to see that at the beginning when Aled mentioned Blake were on the show, they received a very polite applause as people were not familiar with them. However, by the end of the show, it was quite a different story and the buzz leaving the theatre was all about Blake.
Blake performed tracks from their newly released album;God Only Knows, Moon River, Hallelujah and In Paradisum all supported by the BBC Orchestra. If you didn't catch the show, don't forget you have one week to "listen again". Very Happy

Blake will be guests on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night on 18th April 2008, 88-9 fm on your radio, Sky channel 852, Telewest channel 902, NTL channel 402 or via the BBC Website. You will also be able to listen to the programme on the "listen again" feature online, once the show has aired.

The show was pre-recorded today and Blake will perform a few numbers including Jerusalem with Natasha Marsh, who also performs on the show. A friend who went to the show tells me that Blake sounded fantastic and definitely recommends you tune in to the show.

I had a call from someone who had been at the recording and she was telling me the songs that Blake had sung for the programme. I'm not going to ruin the surprise for anyone, but I have to say they sang some of my absolute favourites from the album and I wish I had been there to see it.
I think you can guess the song they sing with Natasha Marsh - especially if you were at the concert at St. James'.I am really looking forward to hearing this programme. Smile
