Elin at Classic FM 15th Birthday concert

Classic FM is thrilled to announce the date for their exclusive 15th Birthday celebration. On Thursday 27 September, London's Royal Albert Hall will come alive with the sound of classical music. This exciting concert, celebrating the Sony award winning station's birthday, is brought to you by the NESCAFE Collection.

It will be hosted by all of your favourite Classic FM presenters, guiding you through the evening's celebrations.

Fantastic cellist, Natalie Clein, will perform Elgar's stunning Cello Concerto, young violinist Nicola Benedetti will perform this year's No.1 Hall of Fame piece, 'The Lark Ascending', and Welsh Baroque soprano, Elin Manahan Thomas, will sing the Alleluia from Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate.

Conducted by David Parry, the Philharmonia and the Philharmonia Chorus will be performing many of Classic FM's orchestral favourites, including 'Zadok The Priest', the Benedictus from Karl Jenkins' 'The Armed Man', and music from 'Star Wars'.
