Alfie - UK Number one Classical album. 17June 07

Dear everyone - Just an update from us - Alfie Boe: The guy that started work in a car factory, played drums in various local rock bands in Fleetwood and sang at The Brixton Academy with The Inspiral Carpets .......... all before going to The Royal College of Music to study as an Opera singer and from there to Glyndebourne, The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Strasbourg, The Royal Albert Hall, Broadway with Baz Lurhmann and the rest is history..........which you all know.

Its now just twelve months since we signed our first recording contract and started the recording of Alfie Boe's debut album, for Classic FM. In that time a huge amount has happened - signing to EMI Classics, making the "Onward" Album, nominated for a Classical Brit Award, appointed Ambassador for HRH Prince Charles's Charity, performing at Clarence House, and today No: 1 Classical Album and he is just about to open in Kismet, at English National Opera.

"Stranger in Paradise", the recording made just last week at ITV's Parkinson Show, is being rush-released to be available as a download track on 25th June, the opening day of Kismet at The Coliseum, in London.

I just wanted to thank you all for your support - To get a No: 1 Classical Album today with "ONWARD" is great news and its only the beginning.

As they say, ONWARD !!
