OMG!

quick disclaimer! People in my house apparently don't tell other people when they have mail!!!!! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I found a package, addressed to me.. and the stamp says Jan. 19th, so I've had it for almost a month Embarassed Embarassed

Anyway!!! I listened to my CD today!!!! yay!!!!
I consider myself a "tenor" girl. I heart my tenors..
BUT!
Nick is so fabulous!!
His voice does this DEEEEEEP thing that you (or.. actually.. I) don't expect from his body type. Its pretty sweet actually.

I want to say that my favorite song on this album is Exit Music (For A Film)...
and it is.. in terms of most things.. except.. I don't understand who exactly we want to choke...? that part was a little confusing.. surprising.. definitely surprising... I was a little scared. Laughing

I looked at my sister and went "did he just say that he hopes that I choke?"
and she says, "right, Deen, make it all about you! Rolling Eyes "

hmm.. I may have just lied and said that track 2 was my favorite. but I also really enjoy track 4... lol. Rhapsody in Time. Very Happy I don't know. I like them both the most we'll say. Cool hehe.
The music sounds vaguely familiar? maybe it reminds me of something else. I can't put my finger on it though.

Anyway! Thanks for the signed album ClassicalX! hehehehehe. I love this! It's a baritone adventure for me. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Deen, Exit Music is Nick's version of the Radiohead song by the same name, it tells the story of two people running away together (before your father hears us etc etc) I think the line you refer to is aimed at the Father. For the full lyrics to the tracks on the album, please go to

http://www.classicalx.com/modules.php?name=Artists&op=lyrics&selected_artist=16

Rhapsody in Time is based on the 18th variation of Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini, a well known classical piece, which is why it may sound familiar to you.

Anyway, I am glad that you are pleased with Nick's mini album and that you are developing an appreciation for Bass-Baritones now too!

Keep the Music Playing! (as the Garrett Girls say!)

Deen do you mean the voice or the body is sweet? Wink Actually you'd be right either way!

Glad that you are enjoying Nick's CD and if you haven't already done so, get over to Nick's official website www.nickgarrett.net and introduce yourself to everyone. We're always glad to welcome new fans.

Hi Deen, so glad you like the music, Nicks voice is not like any other Baritone out there, he certainly has that little extra that makes you listen again and again....
Love that you did not expect that deep sound from his bodytype...never even thought of that as I heard Nick first and then saw his picture. So I would be really suprised if he could sing tenor.. haha

Well I hope this sample makes you want to wait around for more of Nicks music

No problem Deen, if you go to the top of the page and click on the drop down box that says "Select" you can access all the artists on here and then choose from categories on their page such as concerts, lyrics, reviews etc etc. Some artists are still in the process of being updated (where lyrics are concerned) but you should be able to find a wealth of knowledge on there about each of our featured artists.

Just shout if you need any assistance.
