NOT ME . First.... Angels, very pretty 3 girls all like Hayley W who have sweet pure voices and are also managed by Hayley's manager....???!!! But................HAYLEY is like 100000% better!

Second.... Angelis, now 6 young people (3 boys/3girls) all sweet and pure and this time managed by Simon Cowell. Exclamation Idea

Does make a girl wonder if we aren't be given the 'treatment' by record labels.... Idea Idea Idea I'm not a blonde but I do get MADDDDDD when I see stuff like this and people think we're just going to dish out for CD's just like that Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I think that group that you're referring to is All Angels. I listened to one of their songs, a cover of Songbird by Eva Cassidy, and i thought it was very good. I find their voices to be very choir-y, and they're good blended togethe, but i dont think those girls have those voices that are spectacular when solo.

I havent heard of Angelis until now...better look them up.

ok. so I just looked up angelis, and wow. their repertoire and that of all angels is so similar..i was thinking that in light of the similarity in name that each group would have different repertoire. but it's almost the same.

angelis definitely has that Amici Forever style going on, with the all black wardrobe and serious faces, and these are kids here! I definitely prefer the boy singers than the girls. lol.

in terms of technique and voice i much prefer All Angels just because the girls are a little older and have fuller sounding voices.

I think you will find there are 4 All Angels, actually. When Aled had to pull out of the Cadogan Hall concert at the end of September, I believe they took his place and were well received.

Also they will be singing at the The Young Chorister of the Year competition tomorrow (Saturday) for which I have a ticket - and Hayley is one of the judges. Laura Wright, one of All Angels, was the Young Chorister of the Year last year.

Their website says about this:

"The Chorister Of The Year Show will be recorded for BBC Radio 2 on Saturday, 28th October. The show will be broadcast on Sunday 5th November 8-9pm. Having won the event last year, Laura will be interviewed for the show speaking about her year as the winner - plus the show will feature two All Angels tracks".

The question will be whether the group go onward and upward, as it were! So many groups seem to start and then we don't hear much more - there must be a situation where the market is over-subscribed, mustn't there? At least they won't have an enforced natural ending with voices breaking! Smile

There's an interview with All Angels in the December issue of Classic FM magazine
They come across quite well. Good luck to them.

I'm going to the BBC Choristers tomorrow as well, with 2 Garrett Girls. I haven't heard Angelis sing yet, but I saw All Angels on Classic fm tv. They seem quite good. x

I've found the OS's to these two groups for anyone interested to know more about them

http://www.allangelsofficial.com/

To me angelis look a bit like a teeny bopper group. hehe. but that could well be a good marketing ploy to bring classical music to the young generations of music listeners.

All angels are nice but im not really into girls when it comes to classical. I prefer male voices.

I have listen to both and yeah they both do have nice voices/songs etc. But personally I'll be sticking with the older acts such as Russell and TTT, ( i can drool over them and still have my little crushes Embarassed Laughing Laughing )

I saw All Angels last night (along with Xbons! Smile ) they were performing at BBC Choristers of the year and they were very good. I usually prefer guys voices, but I have to admit that I think I'll be buying their album.

Still need to hear Angelis before I can judge them (that sounds nasty but you know what I mean.) I'm always sceptical about groups managed by Simon Cowell coz he's only ever interested in whats in it for him. One of the boys from Angelis was there last night as well. He won the BBC Choristers last year, along with Laura from All Angels, so they've both done very well! Best of luck to both groups I say. x
