No I haven't heard that Quawkers. Although primarily a Mr Watson fan myself, I do like listening to others, and also instrumentalists, particuarly violinists. Trish send me Andre Rieu's Dreaming, and it is wonderful to listen to and unwind. Very Happy

Has anyone heard Kiri Te Kanawa singing Maori tribal songs they're fantastic

Yes, I've got this and play and play it, I've only got the tape though. I love Kiri Te Kanawa's voice and she is such a lovely, gracious lady, I much prefer listening to her than say Angela G, Rene Flemming etc.

My favourites:

Kiri Te Kanawa
Bryn Terfel
Aled Jones
Summer (she is seen on Classicaltv. just one albumn so far but brilliant)
Einaudi (the most soothing piano music ever)
Mario Frangoulis
Willard White
Russell Watson
John Williams (classical guitar)
Il Divo
James Galway Flute
Emma Johnson- clarinet

It is soooo difficult to pick just a few. Laughing

There are very few 'pop' I can bear to listen to Laughing Laughing Laughing I know its dated now but a favourite is Paul Simon especially Gracelands - Bon Jovi because they remind me of music around when I was at school! Rolling Eyes

I also enjoy Enya and other celtic music, Russian Orthodox singing and welsh male voice choirs.

Andrea Bocelli
Nick Garret -( a voice -if compared to food -as rich and smooth as chocolate - wonderful Piano player too!!)
TTT (only discovered them a little while ago and like the dynamics)
Bryn Terfel
Amici
Hayley Westenra
Sarah Brightman
Joshua Bell
to name only a few...
