The mini album isn't released until Monday 4th December and yet things are already hotting up for Nick Garrett. Classicalx takes a look at just what's in store for Nick in the next few days.
Thursday (30th Nov), sees him interviewed on BBC Radio Lancashire by comedian and presenter Ted Robbins who will discuss the new mini album with him.
The weekend will no doubt see him busy making final preparations for the new look to his website, the opening of the Nick Merchandise store and Mini - Album release, as well as warming up those vocal chords for that all important concert at the MEN Arena, Manchester on Monday Night.
Nick has been invited by the Manchester International Festival to be its guest artist performing The Schools Festival Song written especially for the event, by the legendary Film Composer, Ennio Morricone and Manchester writer, Nicholas Royle. Supporting him will be an 8000 strong children's choir.
In a message to his fans on his own website earlier this week, Nick said "I am hugely honoured (not to say excited) to be a part of the Manchester International Festival and to be performing with 'Young Voices' at the MEN ARENA in Manchester for their tenth anniversary.
To be performing the world premiere of The Schools Festival Song written by the legendary film composer Ennio Morricone and to do this alongside 8000 school children to a capacity crowd of 20,000 people will be a great moment and one I intend to enjoy enormously.."
Speaking of his album release he said,"A large part of my thanks goes to all of you on nickgarrett.net and the myspacers who have been massively supportive (and naughty) all year long. Thanks for keeping the faith..I'm overwhelmed by the response and interest shown in my mini-album".
Nick, Classicalx join all your fans in wishing you success with your new album and catching up with you again soon.
For all Nick fans, watch out next week for an exclusive interview with Nick, a review of his album and a great competition.
