Welsh singing star Katherine Jenkins to perform at the Echo Arena Liverpool

Welsh songbird Katherine Jenkins will bring her 2010 UK tour to the ECHO arena.

The classical music star will perform at the waterfront venue on March 18 next year.

Tickets for the concert go on sale tomorrow.

The 29-year-old mezzo soprano started singing as a child and studied at the Royal Academy of Music.

At 23, she was offered a six-album recording deal worth £1m, and her string of accolades include two classical Brit awards.

The international singing star has spent the last few months in Los Angeles working on her first album with new label Warner Bros Records, which will be released this autumn.

For her tour, she will be joined by special guests Escala.

Tickets cost £25-£55 and are subject to a booking fee.
