Bocelli delighted 20,000 fans in Peru

With a delay of 30 minutes, and with public arriving until the very last moment, Andrea Bocelli's first concert in Lima conquered the hearts of the audience, and his powerful, beautiful voice hypnotized everyone at the Jockey Club.

The setlist included many famous opera arias, but also zarzuelas, canzoni, singles from his recents productions and some songs in Spanish as well.

The audience was enthralled and deeply moved: there were even people crying, absolutely in rapture.

Bocelli closed the concert with Puccini's famous aria “Nessun Dorma”, but the neverending audience's applause forced him to go on stage for an encore, singing "Funiculi funicula".

Bocelli is accompanied in this Incanto tour by the Mexican soprano Olivia Gorra, whose sweet voice shines during the well-known duet “Con te partiro” (the one that Bocelli recorded along with Sarah Brightman).

It is also remarkable the performance of the Peru National Chorus, who accompanied Bocelli during certain pieces.
