Geoff Sewell’s young fans are getting the chance to share in his limelight.

Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils in Kristin Junior School’s choir are getting a taste of stardom as they perform with the Amici Forever singer on Saturday.

Other high school choirs from around the country also have the chance to sing with Mr Sewell and Incognito Artists during their New Zealand summer tour.

The international singing success has briefly returned to his Campbells Bay home in the lead-up to the tour and release of his Christmas album.

The Kristin Junior School choir is excited to share the platform with the internationally renowned artist, having watched him perform the national anthem at the Rugby League World Cup final.

"He’s one person whose dreams have come true," Kristin Junior School principal Judi Paape says.

Mr Sewell hopes his School Star Search competition will encourage and inspire students in school choirs.

"I started out in school choirs when I was their age as well," he says of the Kristin group. "As a boy singing in a choir you get a lot of stick, I want to make it look cool."

He is also holding a master class with the choirs he selects to perform with him.

Geoff Sewell and the Incognito Artists perform with the Kristin choir at 12.30pm on Saturday at Westfield Albany.
